I agree.
There’s nothing wrong with being gay tho and there’s nothing wrong with kids seeing gay representation in the media… gay ppl existing isn’t them being “pushed in their faces”—I simply don’t understand the difference if Elsa got a boyfriend in the movie versus if she ended up with a girl and how disney marketing her with a girl would be pushing it in your sibling’s faces
it’s so tired to hear people talking about gayness being pushed in ppl’s faces cause that’s never said about heterosexuality, even though disney princesses are marketed with their princes and it’s a whole trope for girls to be saved by guys that they then fall in love with
like having gay ppl in kids movie’s is not forcing them to be gay/making them gay or whatever the hell, it’s simply normalizing gay relationships so they’ll see it as normal as they grow up… like some kids don’t even know they have the option of being gay, I just- do you know how comforting it is to see yourself represented in the media?? to know that there are people like you?? it’s just wild to me to ever want to deny a growing child that
I actually haven’t seen many Pan characters.
No no, you don’t get what I meant. I want them to see it, but too much is too much. I don’t want them to feel they have to be LGBTQ. I always tell them they don’t have to like the opposite sex. It can just be me who’s struggling and seeing someone like myself is hard.
I’m just confusing myself. I’m sorry.
Ok, I think I get it.
Ah okok my bad then I suppose
No it was my bad, it makes sense in my head.
Yeah, she doesn’t want them to feel like something their not.
