So is prom worth it? For all the people who have went, did you like it? Would you go again? Do you recommend?

We don’t have prom in India 
or maybe we do idk my school doesnt conduct proms and stuff

It’s definitely a lot of money and for people who don’t have that the expectation to make an effort with like fancy clothes and all is kinda sh!t

Yes, it is! We only have two proms; one after you finish middle school and one after you finish high school so no one really wants to miss it. It’s nice for everyone to get together, plus you get to dress up and I love that

Absolutely not, it cost £40 to actually go, my dress cost £60 so that’s £100 right there (and obviously people who wore more expensive clothes spent alot more) yes the venue was fancy, yes the meal beforehand was nice and the coach was air conditioned. All of those aspects of prom were fine, but the reason it wasn’t worth it for me was the fact I really hate social situations, it was too loud, I didn’t like alot of people there and in general it isn’t the mystical night shown in all the movies, it was just an expensive thing that I only went to because people said I’d regret it forever if I don’t.

It is I guess… I went both prom in middle school and Highschool… Although I don’t want to go but meh, I still went. Pretty nice experience.
I think it would actually be a great thing as some sort of a gift or reward for the Seniors (and Juniors maybe) for completing their level.
We were supposed to have prom in my Senior year but it got cancelled due to… guess it!

I never went. I wanted to go to Senior prom, but…nope. Pandemic.
