Why or why not?
I think it can be art because it can be something really creative? At least as far as I know

Art isn’t always just drawing and painting. Art is a form of artistic expression.
Music is art. Creative writing is art. Sculpture is art. Quilting is art.
Even though I’m no good at drawing, I might consider myself a musical artist (because I’m good with music).

Quilting is art because it is all about being creative and at the end of the day, it results in something unique!

Quilting is art. Everything is considered art, it’s just a matter of appreciating or not. Either way, quilting required creativity and skill anr patience to complete it. You have to think which patterns match the best, it takes effort.
