In your opinion, is school important or not?
Some people say it’s getting unimportant because it’s outdated and doesn’t keep up with modern technologies. I still think it’s important though, because the general idea of it is to educate and share knowledge and that’s really important for society
I think school still is important because we don’t have many other options to mass educate the population. But it may not be as important in the future, or could look very different to today’s school (and I hope it will!).
Yes. Sure, it’s not perfect and things could be improved, however, it’s not only important, but it’s fundamental for society. Diverse development studies have shown that education is the way to go if you want long term development in areas. Without education you won’t get the next generation of doctors, engineers ect.
Depends on if you make a distinction between school and education.

Yes, it’s important, but it should be improved. The board of education and owners of private schools should listen to the opinions of teachers and students on how to improve education.
It generally is the most effective way to do it. Wait let me see if I can find some sources from when we debated this in uni

Hmh, I won’t disagree on that. I mean there is always improvement possible, and school hopefully won’t be the same as it is today in let’s say 50 years.

education is very important. i just wish that they would teach us stuff we need to know when were older.
So I think school could be important but it needs to be updated if you get what I mean. For example School mostly teaches you about the ,as I call it, the white side of history. I feel that this is way to outdated and I feel like schools should work together to teach children the real history and not just about ww2 (this is what I mostly learned). I hope u get what I mean

The education system needs to be changed. I live in the UK and we spend ages learning things that are very irrelevant.

I think school is important, however there are a lot of things that should be taught. Even though not all of it is useful, you need to learn math and such.
It’s important. I agree that most stuff you learn is outdated, but at least you learn how to find and work with information and how to express your opinion on a subject. But most importantly you learn how to interact with other people your age, so it’s really important for improving your social skills.

School is very important. Of course, there are problems within the school systems, and there are so many ways that it could change and adapt, but school is definitely important. We all need to have some type of education, and school is a way to bring people to have a mutual starting point of their educations.
School is important. Rather than school, EDUCATION itself is important. Although it’s not perfect, it’s the fundementals. It forces you to expose to other people, and the outside world.
