Is your digital art style different from your art style on paper?

If you’re someone who does both digital art and art on paper, is your digital art style different from your art style on paper?

Yes a lot. I need a stabilizer so my paper art is messy and pretty ugly in my eyes.

Yeah, same with Meeke. I’m used to spamming a stabilizer so my lines are messier traditionally

I would say… not really? I draw better on digital though :eyes:

Mhm!
With traditional I find it easier to add more detail.
Whilst with digital I keep things simpler.

Yes, my traditional art is messier because there’s no undo button and I’m too lazy to search for my eraser :eyes:

My digital art also has more texture (?) because I can use multiple brushes instead of just a pencil :eyes::eyes::green_heart:

Yes, my digital art is better and takes less time, I don’t even really have a style when it comes to art on paper.

@Artists What about you?

I think the spirit of my sketches come through in the final digital work. But, traditional media has a lovely textured and gritty charm to it. Meanwhile digital media makes for crisper lines and more detailed, brighter work.
