Dame Jane Morris Goodall (April 3rd, 1934 - Oct 1st, 2025 age 91) was a British anthropologist, zoologist and primatologist. She is most well known for her work with gorillas in Gombe Stream National Park in Tanzania. Goodall was a vegan since the 2000s, but was a vegetarian since the 60s. She acknowledged the benefits of a plant based diet both on the human body and the environment. Goodall also suffered from prosopagnosia, also known as face blindness. Some awards Goodall received were the Edinburgh medal in 1991, the William Procter Prize for Scientific Achievement in 1996, the Hubbard Medal in 1995, and the Nierenberg Prize in 2004.
