Gonna Duolingo Korean with me? I’m terrible at the pronunciation :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m mastering Korean by watching k-dramas

I just have to listen to enough songs :massage_woman:

oooh I didn’t know this was a thing! I started appreciating k-pop when I was little and saw BoA on tv but I didn’t know the term “k-pop” until I moved.

Then I started listening to SHINee, 2NE1, BigBang and SuJu but out of these groups I only keep up with SHINee nowadays.
I also started liking Red Velvet and BTS (before they blew up). Although I don’t listen to these two groups anymore I’m happy that they’ve gotten a lot more recognition over past few years.

My favourites now:

  • WINNER
  • ATEEZ
  • IU
  • WayV (I know they’re a chinese sub-unit but NCT is under SM)

I also occasionally listen to PENTAGON, SF9, IKON, CLC and some others. I don’t listen to only k-pop (and I don’t listen to it as frequently as I used to) but I still appreciate it.
