Let's talk about deodorant

  • Do you wear deodorant a lot?
  • Do you prefer deodorant or antiperspirant?
  • Do you have a favorite scent for deodorant?

I tend not to wear it that much since I pretty much never go outside these days or do any athletic activity  I also have the hardest time finding something that I like the smell of, because a lot of them just smell weird. There’s just something weird about trying to find a scent that I like on my body

I have to. Otherwise i quote ā€œsmell like a burritoā€

I don’t really know the difference… I think what I use says antiperspirant? Might not, I don’t pay close enough attention to it. Either way, I just call it deodorant.

There’s a couple I like, but not really. It’s just whatever is the best smelling of the spray deodorant when I’m at the store.

Since quarantine, naw :sunglasses:

I don’t even know what antiperspirant is

Nope, I just apply whatever whenever I go out for long periods of time. My sweat doesn’t smell, but I noticed when I apply deodorant I sweat less

Yes or else I’ll stink especially when I sweat.

I use both but plain deodorant already works for me. Plus, antiperspirant isn’t really effective for me since I still sweat on my armpits from time to time.

I prefer it unscented.

IIII actually wear antiperspirant or deodorant everyday

Antiperspirant at the moment (I don’t really have a perference) so the clue is in the name ā€œanti perspireā€ like ā€œanti sweatā€ now sweat itself doesn’t actually stink, it’s actually the sweat reacting with the bacteria on your skin so antiperspirant blocks the sweat glands meaning the sweat won’t react to your skin and according to the things I read, it doesn’t stop your body from naturally getting rid of toxins.

Deodorant kills the bacteria on your skin meaning you still sweat but there is no bacteria to cause the odor. It does this by increasing skin acidity.

Not really :eyes:

I think the most important question is roll on or spray on? :joy:

I use roll on because I shave my armpits everyday (I know I shouldn’t) and spraying would just be pure masochism
