I really wish people stop getting offended over race mixing. Love has NO colour! I’m not just saying this because I prefer white men, I’m saying this because I find it very frustrating that people throw around the derogative term “race traitor” as a way to guilt trip someone for not dating/marrying someone the same race as them.
Amen to that. Personally, I’m all for interracial relationships. As long as the people involved love and respect each other, that shouldn’t matter.
The old people who live in the past will die eventually.
??? What
That sounded very ignorant and kinda stupid, so I’ll delete it. I was tired…
(non-problematic and un-tired) bump
True that! It really irks me that there are people who are so pessimistic about interracial relationships/marriages. My mum tried to convince me that mixed marriages don’t last long but I proved her wrong because one of my aunts is married to a white guy and they have been together for a very long time.
Ethnicity has nothing to do with relationships/marriages, if two people are compatible with each other then it’s good. Remember, character matters not time.
I’m confused… when exactly did Marriage go from being about love to being about your race??? Am I that out of the loop?
Nope, I haven’t.
Nope, why would it. Race doesn’t define who someone is.
I don’t see anything wrong, the thing that matter is that 2 people are happy with each other, I believe it can complicate things tho if for example family is against it, but still the love should be the most important thing. People should love and date whoever they want to date regardless of race.
This has changed
I know we’re rad
No! I was going to bump this thread with a 50 words long reply LOL.
Wait! Is someone getting married?
You still can bro
Oui! But it won’t count as a bump.
Anyways, congratulations on your engagement (?)
Bumpity bump!!
I’ll say this one more time…being mixed race does not only apply to being half black, half white. You can be white & Asian or Latin & black…the list goes on!
Funny thing is that I often get mistaken has biracial because of my skin tone. A lot of people would expect Bengalies to be really dark skinned when they can be gold or caramel tone.
Have you ever been in an interracial relationship?
Kind of, I’m not sure if I would call it a relationship though. One of the perks was to get to know more about a new culture.
Does race matter to you? If so, why?
Not at all. Race doesn’t matter to me at all, culture and beliefs maybe. It would be hard to be in a relationship with someone with fundamentally different core values to you.
What are your opinions on interracial relationships?
I don’t have much of an opinion on this. I think that everyone are free to be in a relationship with whoever they want to.
So I’m not mixed race, but I’m not the same race as my parents.
I think mixed kids are so cuteee.
I’ve only been in interracial relationships until now, but it’s not really something that came to my mind too much, because my country is very diverse as is when it comes to ethnicities.
But I do like the concept of interracial relationships, especially after I see how many “black” women for example just never dated a “white” man in their lives, and find the concept a bit off or weird. I honestly never understood that and I find the different cultures very appealing and interesting.
I never looked at race as a criteria when considering a partner, but as I said the different ethnicities and cultures attract me
I think interracial relationships are a beautiful thing, it’s special and diverse, and kind of connects the world together.
I’m an interracial child and I’ll probably end up having one too, and I’m proud of it.
I agree. I have cousins that are mixed race and they’re beautiful.
This is my cousin, Amaya. She’s gorgeous!
Awww, she’s a cutieeee.
