“Hestia, just-can you just hold on a second?”
Aries grabbed Hestia’s arm, stopping her from exiting the room, she turned around to face Aries although she much rather would’ve liked to go home at this point, he obviously didn’t want to talk about what happened. She didn’t like it, to be quite frank she wanted to talk about it. She didn’t want to be ran around and around, she hated the feeling. And his ‘Guess I slipped up, huh?’ wasn’t something she was happy to hear. She shook off his hand lightly before saying quietly, “Please let go of my arm.” She pulled her arm form his grip, but she didn’t leave and instead listened to him talk, nervousness creeping into his voice. She looked down at the floor, thinking for a moment. It was awkward, extremely awkward. If she was going to be frank, then Aries was one of her best friends, in fact he’s the only friend who knew almost everything about her. Like, she wore glasses or she had hundreds of freckles and covered it up with makeup- and that actually was embarrasing that someone knew many things about her. He was also someone she could go to and rant to or bother constantly when she had nothing else to do. Also, I kinda don’t have a ride home. she thought to herself before sighing and looking at him as he repeated himself insistently taking a step closer to her. She held out a hand and shook her head, “Step back.” She just wanted some personal space, in fact, when she felt overwhelmed Hestia had a habit of being b-tchy about her personal bubble. She looked around for a moment, still thinking before giving a nod. “Okay,” she responded, although she doubted she’d forget about that. Not for a while at least… But then again, Aries was in a tricky position, he had a fiancee. She’d do it though, for the sake of their friendship at least she gave a slightly strained smile. “Sausage pizza, make it happen.”
