Lime Grove // Official Thread

“It’s a pity you think I’m like this with everyone. I’m not a monster, you know?” Saying it in almost a baby voice as if he was explaining that to a child he put on a sarcastic smile.
It was fun getting her annoyed in a way, he knew she wouldn’t like him being that close to her but he didn’t expect she’d slap him. A little push or that annoying eye roll of hers would work perfectly but this was just making him mad even if that’s not a hard thing to do. “Just don’t be proud of yourself you’re not the first one to do that.” Putting his hand on that side of his face rubbing it gently in hopes it might make it hurt less he looked after her as she started walking towards Kato, furrowing his brows.

Putting his hands back in his pockets he followed her, putting on a bright smile. “Hey!” With a chuckle he returned those random motions glancing back at Hailey with a see, I’m friendly look on his face. But his question did surprise him, she said she talked to him the other day? “You don’t know her?” He asked with a light laugh not wanting to make much of the situation but just play along. “I suggest you don’t get on her bad side because she will slap you. Girls these days.” Playfully rolling his eyes he looked at Hailey with a sarcastic yet cocky smile before shifting his gaze back to Kato. It wasn’t hard to notice his bruised face or his sudden mood change, as if he was hurt. He did look like he was. “Are you alright?” He asked quietly putting a hand on his shoulder and examining his face. “What happened? Do you need some help shopping?” He carefully asked giving him a soft smile as he put his hand back down.

Evan

She chucked.

“No, it’s fine.” She smiled.
She knew he meant no harm or bad intentions and it was just a mere compliment.
He seemed worried of saying the wrong thing, and she started to regret blowing up at him in the beginning of their conversation.
She was ruining everyone’s day.

“Do you have any projects or anything in development?”

Kato/Leo

He doesn’t remember me?

She knew he was having memory problems the day previous - like the time and year - but how could you forget someone, just hours after speaking?
She was beginning to feel worried about his mental health.
Nobody just forgets a face or name like that, especially when they’re well known.

“I’m.. Hailey. We met at the cafe yesterday. Remember?”

It took all of her strength not to slap Leo once again.
She didn’t want to startle Kato, however his mood and demeanor changed completely from the day before. He was back to his normal happy Kato like at Club 14 two days ago.
She refrained from looking at Leo, knowing it would feed the urge of slapping him once again. She could sense his cocky grin facing her however.
Kato started dancing randomly to nonexistent music then huddled in pain.
She noticed the bruising upon his face and it made her even more worried.
“What happened to you?”

Orion

I looked back out to the ocean and sun. “Yeah.. just wanted to relax in the sun.” I said looking back at him with a smile.
I didn’t know much about Orion as I had never spoken to him before, but his name drifted around Lime Grove frequently.
“Why’re you here alone?”
I asked, tipping my shades down to see him clearly.

I was happy to see Hailey laughing. “This conversation is getting better.” I thought.
“Do you have any projects or anything in development?”
I nodded my head. “Well, I was watching this movie called…He’s Just Not That Into You and I was thinking about making a project…similar to that. I just don’t have anything completely concrete yet but I’m working on it.” It was honestly cool to share this part of myself to other people.

“Of course they do… that’s how we can tell you were never pregnant " I raised a brow and started laughing at that. “What does that even mean?” I asked. “Do not go into obstetricians.” I teased with a chuckle.
*“Not just yet… patience. I’ll have ideas, I always do" I chuckled lightly and looked towards him. “Alright, alright…” I said, smiling lightly.
“Multitasking is the sh!t… I should add transportation to my resume” I giggled and wrapped my arms around him so I wouldn’t fall. “Maybe so. If you’d like to be a car, go ahead.” I said, raising a humorous brow.

“That’s cool!” I said.
“Oh shoot…” I muttered, retreiving my phone from my pocket and checking the time.
It was Fair Day and it was getting late, it would be best to start heading there now.

“It’s getting late… I’m gonna start heading to the amusement park… for Fair Day today.” I said standing up and putting my phone in my back pocket. “It was nice talking to you Evan.”
I turned around and headed out the mall.

Aria and Aurie

“Early bird risers are not to be trusted.” Aurie chuckled at the comment and shook her head slightly. “Actually, night owls are not to be trusted.” She smirked and leaned slightly forward towards the girl as if she were telling a secret. “They do things that no one would imagine.” She goes back to her position and chuckles again as she took a sip of her drink. “It’s like falling stars, they’re there every night but you’re almost never lucky just enough to meet one,” Aurie raised her left eyebrow and looked at the girl, analyzing her intention a bit. “Well, falling stars happen all the time. But Aurie is a single piece. You can’t see me all the time.” She winked at the girl in a normal way and turned around to look at the dance floor. It was even emptier than before and she couldn’t put a finger on why it’s empty now. As she was looking at the people leaving the bar, she heard the girl introducing herself and turned towards her. “Aurie. Nice to meet ya.” She smiled at the girl and finished her drink. “Another drink, please.” She called the waiter and gave all her attention to Aria again. “Sooooooo, what do you do usually?” She asked, trying to make a conversation. She couldn’t find any cute guy to flirt with and so, she decided to make a new friend (if possible, of course).

Aries and Aurie

After a long time in her pool, Aurie decided to finally get out. She was looking forward to the fair. It was the only time where she doesn’t have to dress up like a model and actually be herself. She took an hour-long shower with loud music coming out of her speakers in the bathroom. Of course, she’s a bathroom singer and a bathroom dancer. But, obviously, no one knew that.

Aurie got all ready for the fair and walked out to her garage. The one thing she loves the most is her motorcycle. She rarely brings it out and when she does, she uses it to fullest and enjoys it the whole time. She gently pulled the cover off of it and put the cover aside. She then slowly walked over to her bike and took a seat on it. “Let’s go for a ride baby.” She kissed her bike a little and drove off to the fair.

As soon as she reached the parking lot, she noticed that it was pretty full. She likes it when a place is crowded, it gives her excitement. She parked her bike and took off her helmet gently, making sure that she’s not ruining her hair. She then noticed a car, which seemed like her friend (if you want to call it that way  ), Aries’s car. I loved playing with him and it’s been forever since I met him even. “Yo, butthead, need some driving lessons?” I yelled at him as soon as he got out of his car.

“Neither. People in general can’t be trusted” I chuckled lightly, though it was one hundred percent true.
They do things that no one would imagine
“No doubt about that part” I said and picked up my glass again “not always a good thing though” I added and took a sip
Well, falling stars happen all the time. But Aurie is a single piece. You can’t see me all the time
“Of course not” I smirked “And how lucky am I to see it” I added and put down my glass
Aurie. Nice to meet ya.
Aurie. “I like your name, special” I smirked
Another drink, please
"Make that a double " I said and slightly pushed my glass on the bar towards the bartender with a light smile
Sooooooo, what do you do usually?
“Don’t give a sh!t about opinions” I smirked “true for the record, but yeah.”
My phone was on the bar, it buzzed and the screen lit making me lose my focus. I took a glance at it and saw a notification from the exposing site. I rolled my eyes with a light annoyed sigh and turned off the screen turning back to Aurie.
“Guess I like bars mostly, and pretty nature spots. But some other stuff too, whatever works.”

After I decided to chill around the house all day, I realized that it was Lime Grove’s fair day. It was usually a good time, and who was I to deny that? I was always up for fun. I quickly got dressed and grabbed my keys and phone - along with my wallet and my flask so I wouldn’t die of dehydration. Seth and I were meeting up like we usually did. Once I got to the parking lot, I got out of my car and waited for him to park next to me. When he got there, I raised a brow and sent him my usual smirk. “Hey there, mate.” I said, raising my hand as if I were waving just without the wave.

“Neither. People, in general, can’t be trusted” She nodded at her in agreement and placed her hands on the countertop. “Well, that is definitely true.” She said with a shrug. Aurie was tapping her fingers on the counter impatiently as she waited for her drink. She wanted to get drunk, at least slightly, before she went back to her house. “not always a good thing though” Aurie stopped tapping her fingers ad chuckled at the girl. “Depends on your definition of things.” She told her with a smirk and resumed tapping her fingers. The bartender finally came back with their drinks and she felt relieved. She thanked the bartender and started drinking as soon as he left. “Don’t give a sh!t about opinions” Aurie chuckled at her. “Sassy, I see.” She smirked slightly and took another sip of her drink. “What I meant was how come you are at Lime Grove?” I asked her, trying to get to know her profession.

I noticed thay Hailey looked down at her phone and got a notification. Then she told me that a fair was happening and that she had to leave. “It was nice talking to you Evan.”
“Bye.” I said. She walked away and I was left wondering If I should go to the fair or not. I shrugged and went home.

A few hours later

I entered the fair on my bike and noticed that there was a lot of people walking around and It seemed lively. I went on one of the horse rides which was wimpy but fun but I did it because It gave me a lot of childhood memories. After doing that, I sat down at one of the benches and wondered what I was gonna do next.

After laying on the deck and waiting for the mysterious person Henry I decided to get up and go back home because I was getting kind of sleepy. I saw a notification on my phone about a carnival happening nearby tonight and decided that maybe I could go, even though It wasn’t my cup of tea. First, I had to take a loooong nap.

A few Hours Later

Walking was peaceful to me so I decided to walk to the fair instead of using my bike. I stood In front of the rides, deciding If I wanted to make a fool of myself by screaming and being scared on one of those even though I didn’t know anyone.

I noticed that It was getting dark outside as I was talking to Sarah during lunch. “It must be late huh?” I asked while eating my last fry. I got a notification on my phone about a fair. “Do you see this?” I showed her while shrugging. I dusted my hands off and stood up. “Well, this was fun matey but I have to get going.” I fist bumped her. “I might cause some mischief at the fair.” I said while leaving the restaurant.

A few Hours Later

I liked taking long walks at night, which calmed me, so that’s what I did on the night of the fair. I entered the fair and was greeted by lights flying everywhere. It was kind of annoying but interesting also. I stood on one of the consession stand counters to get a good look at the rides. “Hey get down from there!” A man behind the counter said. I just decided to ignore him for a little while.

Taking a very long shower and just finishing up some work he wasn’t planning to go to the fair just yet. Everyone will be there so he didn’t care if he shows up just a bit late even if he doesn’t like doing that.
Going downstairs to the kitchen to grab something to eat right before he leaves he felt his phone buzzing not thinking much about what or who it was. That site didn’t cross his mind until he unlocked his phone and was taken back with the first thing he saw. Or was just shocked. Disappointed. Sad. Hurt. In denial. Slowly sitting down on one of the steps he dropped his phone, covering his face with his hands. And his mind was just blank for a moment.
He didn’t think about anything. He didn’t think about the fact that if nothing happened he would be having a baby now. His child he didn’t even know about. He found himself looking up and staring into empty space until he felt tears just rolling down his cheeks. It’s not like him to cry but some things you just can’t control; he couldn’t control how things would go and he certainly can’t change what already happened. At that moment memories came back to him and images of the life he once wanted. Still secretly wants. He didn’t like seeing things about his relationship online but he also didn’t like being in the dark and not knowing things he should know, and she kept one of the biggest things away from him. If only he knew he would’ve been there for her, he wouldn’t just let her leave and that’s what was making him mad the most. Maybe he was crying because he was sad but he was also furious. Not thinking straight he picked up his phone and got up, heading straight for the door as he grabbed his keys from the little table right next to the door. He didn’t even know where he had to go he just knew he had to confront her so he opened up his garage and took his bike, speeding off down the street.
And that was one of the biggest mistakes he made. As he made a turn, in the state he was in, he didn’t pay attention to anything and didn’t think about the fact someone else might be out too until he crashed into a car.

After Miles and I separated from the park, I went home so I could take Lacey in and change before the fair. I’ve always loved going to our annual activities. They were fun times. It was a time where Lime Grove got together and acted as if we were family - although, some people didn’t quite get along. I had hope though. I hoped that once everyone would get together maybe things wouldn’t be so bad. We needed this now more than ever with the lockdown and everything. Everyone’s secrets and what not being exposed… Lime Grove was at an all time low, but I was optimistic. Once I had changed into something comfortable and grabbed my things, I got into my car and started to drive towards my destination - little did I know… I would never reach my destination. As I stopped at a sign, I looked to see if there was any incoming traffic - though, we weren’t getting may visitors nowadays. As I didn’t see anyone coming, I pressed my foot gently against the gas, humming lightly as I continued to drive. Suddenly, I heard my phone ping, so my eyes glanced over to the direction of my phone - only for a second. Though, that second was the biggest mistake I’ve made in a long while.
Something, rather someone, had crashed straight into me. The rest was a blur and the only thing I could hear was the ringing in my ears. This was it.
They say your life flashes before your eyes when you are close to death. And they were right. All of my memories, laughs, smiles, cries… My best friend. My close friends and family - the friends who I call family. Everything faded into black as I let my eyes flutter shut and I simply don’t remember the rest.

“Hestia, just-can you just hold on a second?”

Aries grabbed Hestia’s arm, stopping her from exiting the room, she turned around to face Aries although she much rather would’ve liked to go home at this point, he obviously didn’t want to talk about what happened. She didn’t like it, to be quite frank she wanted to talk about it. She didn’t want to be ran around and around, she hated the feeling. And his ‘Guess I slipped up, huh?’ wasn’t something she was happy to hear. She shook off his hand lightly before saying quietly, “Please let go of my arm.” She pulled her arm form his grip, but she didn’t leave and instead listened to him talk, nervousness creeping into his voice. She looked down at the floor, thinking for a moment. It was awkward, extremely awkward. If she was going to be frank, then Aries was one of her best friends, in fact he’s the only friend who knew almost everything about her. Like, she wore glasses or she had hundreds of freckles and covered it up with makeup- and that actually was embarrasing that someone knew many things about her. He was also someone she could go to and rant to or bother constantly when she had nothing else to do. Also, I kinda don’t have a ride home. she thought to herself before sighing and looking at him as he repeated himself insistently taking a step closer to her. She held out a hand and shook her head, “Step back.” She just wanted some personal space, in fact, when she felt overwhelmed Hestia had a habit of being b-tchy about her personal bubble. She looked around for a moment, still thinking before giving a nod. “Okay,” she responded, although she doubted she’d forget about that. Not for a while at least… But then again, Aries was in a tricky position, he had a fiancee. She’d do it though, for the sake of their friendship at least she gave a slightly strained smile. “Sausage pizza, make it happen.”

☆CLONE☆ - Adeline and Mateo 《Day 3 - Afternoon》

Adeline’s eyes naturally rolled as he kissed Ms. Hobbs hand. It had certainly made her day.
When Mateo referred to Adeline as his “lovely sidekick”, the kids agreed, stating she couldn’t possibly be anything else but that. She scoffed and put her hands on her hips.
“Partner. You couldn’t at least have used the word partner?”
“Just for the record, this is a terrible idea.” Mateo groaned next to her as she shoved her hand into the puppet. She looked over at him, the nervous look in his eyes just increasing her own.
“Oh I’m sorry, do you have a better idea?” Before he could respond, she gestured the hand puppet in his direction. “Don’t answer that.”
The kids were getting restless at this point. Adeline wanted to stuff all their mouths with apples for being so disrespectful. Thankfully, Mateo took charge, dragging his hand across the tiny stage as a blonde damsel in distress.
He began singing and Adeline had to quickly slap her hand over her mouth as she let out an unattractive snort, her body shaking from hidden laughter.
The kids found it funny too, giggling and clapping and finally paying attention.
“Who are you to say that to me?!”
He looked over at her expectantly and she quickly cleared her throat, putting her puppet onto the stage.
This was soooooooo not her area of expertise. Her lips moved to the side as she mimicked a deep, raspy southern accent.
“I told you to let down yer hair, not terrible squeaky notes!”
The cop puppet approached. “Rumor has it you done seen two little speckled frogs sittin’ on a speckled log. Is this trueeeeee?”

Aries with Aurie 《Current Day - At the fair》

Aries was never one to refuse a distracting and fun time, especially when it came to amusement parks. Fried food, awesome rides, what more could you ask for? He hadn’t planned anything really with anyone. He was honestly just expecting to get there and see who he could find, considering he basically knew everyone in Lime Grove. He parked his car and gave a approving nod at the many lights and loud noises already being heard before he even entered the park. Aries slid out from the seat, putting his hand atop the door to close it.
“Yo, butthead, need some driving lessons?”
He twisted himself to look to the direction of the speaker, a pleased smile making its way to his lips as he shut the door.
“Butthead? Really? The insult of the century,” he stated, adjusting his shirt before walking over to her.
“The grandmas of Lime Grove literally make petitions just to stop you from driving.” When he reached her, he gave a cocksure grin and a slight tilt of his head. “You sure you don’t need driving lessons?”
He walked past her and inspected her motorcycle, touching the handle before nodding. “Yup. Still emotionally attatched to her.” He flicked his head over to Aurie. “You waiting for anyone?” The relationship he had with Aurie was…well…not particularly complicated. Well at least not when all the drama was pulled out of it. They spent a few nights together, and both were not people who went around kissing and telling which is why is probably worked out.
Yet they still had somewhat a friendly relationship as well, and it’d been a while since they last talked considering he was engaged and all that.

Adeline and Henry 《Current Day - Fair》

“Really? Really? I hit that bottle fair and square!”
The guy behind the counter seemed uninterested in her arguments. “Listen lady, it didn’t fall down. No fallen bottle, no giant panda bear alright?”
Lady? Seriously-”
Preston pulled out a 100 dollar bill and casually held it out. “Give her the bear.”
She looked over at her forced companion, unimpressed as the guy running the game gave a wide grin and pulled down the panda bear. Practically pouting, she grabbed the bear in her arms and sighed as they began walking away to another game. So yeah. Escaping with Leo was a waste of her time that was unnecessary because Preston was persistent and said he “forgave her” after her mother had a talk with the both of them.

The moment she saw Henry walking in their direction, she took the opportunity to drag the poor soul into the dreadful situation since they were friends. “Henryyyy!” She stated a bit too enthusiastically. Preston immediately tightened his posture when he saw yet another guy in the equation. “Adeline, don’t do this again-”
“Oh don’t worry about it,” She stated, shoving the panda bear into his arms and walking up to Henry. “Hey brother from another mothaaaa,” She stated awkwardly, punching his arm playfully. She cleared her throat before whispering a bit obviously. “You remember that time I totally bailed you out of that situation with that one chick who was way too clingy?” Maybe they could both annoy him to the point that he’d just give up and go home. After all, Henry was practically a child.

He was already stuffing cotton candy into his mouth as he walked along the path, one hand casually resting in his pants pockets. He was on his way to actually buy more food but paused when he saw some crazy chick standing on one of the tables, some guy in the back yelling at her to get off. He tilted his head but as he walked towards the commotion, simply deciding to ignore it and get his food instead. That was until he finally realized who it was. An amused smile painted his lips as he stepped from the bench and onto the table alongside her, bending slightly so his head was at her level. “What are we looking at?” He whispered almost loudly.
“The two of you quit being kids and get off the table would you?!” Aries glanced back over his shoulder before holding the cotton candy out to Heather. “I think she sees an interesting meteor sir. It’s best we don’t disturb her as she searches.”

Aries sipped the beer within the restaraunt casually as the friends he’d found at the fair all sat around the table with him, talking loudly and discussing the latest gossip which Aries wasn’t particularly interested in.
“Oh my gosh, look at that guy,” Sophie stated, pushing the arm of the friend next to her. Aries followed where their fingers were pointing to a guy with longer black hair. He definitely stood out as he sat alone at the bar, drinking from his glass leisurely, and he seemed to hold himself higher than anyone else here.
“Go talk to him then,” Aries said, taking another drink from his bottle.
“You don’t just go up and introduce yourself Aries,” Sophie pouted. “It looks desperate. But you can introduce us right?”
He scoffed and shook his head before leaning back in his seat. “Uh, yeah, noooo. I’m not your wing man.”
“You’re just being selfish because you already have a fiancee! Come on, pleeeeeease?”
Aries glanced over at the guy and sighed, rubbing his eyes before shaking his head in annoyance and standing up. He took his beer with him and gave an evil smirk. “Well then. Don’t expect me to introduce you in a good light,” He walked away even as she protested, avoiding a few people as they walked to their own destinations.
“Kinda weird to be sitting here alone like a depressed antisocial when one comes here to have fun,” Aries stated as he put his beer glass on the counter and leaned against it, his body facing the stranger.

☆CLONE☆ - Aries and Hestia <Day 1>

He released his grip from her arm as she requested, awkwardly rubbing the back on his neck with his hand instead. There was even more tension when she said she didn’t want him close, which was understandable, though strange for the two of them considering they were constantly teasing each other. He knew Hestia when she was angry, there was no denying that. Right now, she was not only angry, she was upset. Mix the two together, and her walls built up pretty high.
“Okay,”
His eyes widened at the response as if he hadn’t expected her to agree at all. Which, he hadn’t.
“Sausage pizza, make it happen.”
He let out a breathless laugh, nodding quickly and moving past her, walking backwards towards the stairs. “Sausage. You got it,”
He turned around and jogged down the stairs, pulling his phone out of his pocket and dialing the number. He put in the order before hanging up and walking over to the Bluetooth speakers, putting on some music so they didn’t have to deal with the silence.
“So, I’ve definitely got enough blankets for some forts, lots of movies, a pool in the backyard,” He yelled up to Hestia as he started for the kitchen, pulling cups out from the cupbaords.

Aria and Aurie

“but I love the fun ones” Aurie smirked at her and took a sip of her drink. “Who wouldn’t” She gave her a wink and looked around a bit. It was pretty boring at the bar for her, honestly. Of course, she has some great company but it still seemed empty and not her style. Aurie zoned out a little until she heard Aria talking again. She sighed ever so slightly and shrugged and when Aria asked about her. “Just wanted a change, I guess.” she told her casually and finished her drink. She pulled out her phone and checked the time only to see that it’s almost time for the fair. “By the way, want to try going to the fair later?” Aria caught her attention again and turned towards her. “Yeah, definitely. I need to go home now though. I’ll see you at the fair, yeah?” Without waiting for a reply, Aurie gave her a smile, and stood up, dusting her clothes a little and caught her purse. “See ya later, birdie.” She winked subtly yet friendly as she walked out of the bar with ease.

Aries and Aurie

Aurie had always loved her interaction with Aries. Of course, not because they spent a few nights together. But because they have fun at night and can easily pretend that nothing happened between them the next morning. There aren’t many guys who hook up with someone and still be friends with them without feelings getting in the way. And, so, I tend to keep in touch with them.
“Butthead? Really? The insult of the century,” Aurie chuckled with a mixture of humor and sarcasm. “Puh-lease. I’ve called you worse. This was way nicer since we are in public. Don’t really wanna ruin your reputation, now do I?” She smirked at him as she hung her helmet off of one of the handles.
“The grandmas of Lime Grove literally make petitions just to stop you from driving.” Aurie poked his side for his comment and got off of her bike. “The grandmas love me in Lime Grove. And I am definitely the best driver Lime Grove can ever get.” She told him with confidence beaming from her eyes. “You wanna race me, champ? Cuz, you sure as hell are gonna lose.” She challenged him, again, with confidence. Of course, she didn’t actually challenge him. She was just playing around, but of course, she wasn’t lying about the winning part.
She watched him walk over to her bike and took the opportunity to check him out. Just because we are friends doesn’t mean that I don’t get to check out the one I smashed before. Not baaaaaaaddddddd… She made a slow whistle within herself. He really didn’t change at all, still in shape.
“Yup. Still emotionally attached to her.” She chuckled at him. “If there’s anything I truly love in this world, then that would be her. So, you, mister…” She slowly walked towards him and grabbed his hand that’s on the bike. “Stay away from her.” She told him with a teasing smirk as she took his hand off of her bike.
“You waiting for anyone?” She let go of his hand gently and smirked at his question. “The question is… do I ever wait for someone?” She leaned a little forward, still maintaining a reasonable distance from him and never letting go of the smirk. “People wait for me. I never wait for them.” She leaned back and smiled. “Now whatcha waiting for, loser? Let’s get going. I can hear food and game stalls calling my name.” She turned around with an excited smirk and started walking towards the fair.
