As Leo caught up she could feel her blood boil and annoy tolerance dramatically decrease.
”What a pleasant surprise.”
“Shut up.” She muttered.
She couldn’t believe herself. She gave into Leo’s mischievous plan for what? At what cost? For closure? She was disappointed in herself and her curiosity. It’d be the downfall of his career, all because she was being nosy. She knew it was none of her business, but she kept poking and prodding, popping holes slowly waiting for Kato to deflate.
“Well you’re the one who decided this, I thought you had an idea!” She yelled.
She was a bull that had just seen red.
She sighed and decided to ignore his insult.
She faced him with an expressionless and emotionless face. You could hear a monotone voice just by staring at her.
“Just… don’t be so abrupt. He was… scared when I spoke to him last. Just… be calm and less… like you.” I shook my head with disgust.
She furrowed her brows.
He then drew closer with a playful smirk.
His jerk and douchebag attitude pushed her off the edge. He thought he could get away with anything.
With great fury and aggression she slapped Leo across the face.
“Get the h-ll away from me!” She yelled shaking her head and making her way to Kato.

Taking a deep breath before speaking, she lowered her voice and plastered a warm, welcoming smile on her face. “Kato hey, what’re you doing here?”

It has been a while…
I was sitting on my porch looking at the sky, but eventually I got quite sick of it.
Not that i mind being on my own, many times I even prefer it. But I wasn’t feeling this whole sitting and looking at the sky part.
I wanted to do something fun, so I decided to pup by at my favorite and most visited place in this posh neighborhood. The bar.
You can say a lot of things about line grove, but the bar is always good.
I ran a hand through my messy but good looking hair and headed out, I didn’t feel like fancying up or putting any makeup, but I almost never do so that’s no surprise.
I headed over to the bar and went by to sit at my favorite spot by the bar, I smiled at the bartender with a light not that means the usual, we’ve become sort of friends by now, it was nice.
It’s true what they show in movies, bartenders really are good conversation people.
I took my drink from the bar and sipped it, “amazing as usual” I smirked

Aurie was bored with sitting at home. None of her friends would answer her call and she was tired of going through her phone to pass the time. So, she decided to hit the bar and get some drinks. It was definitely not the right time to get drinks but she doesn’t really care about it. But, of course, she cares about dress and makeup. She wore a white crop top and a white skirt, put on some smoky makeup, put on her cooling glasses, and headed out to the bar. As she entered the bar, she noticed the bar seemed a little empty. She was used to crowding bars so it was pretty new for her to see somewhat of an empty bar. But, of course, no matter what the time is, there are always pervy guys right at the entrance eyeing her top to bottom. She pretty much got used to it. “Like what you see?” She lowered her sunglasses a little with her pointed finger and asked them in a sexy and husky voice while giving them a wink. She then chuckled slightly to herself and walked up to the bar with ease, her heels tapping the wooden floor softly. “Whiskey. Neat, please.” She told the bartender as soon as she reached the counter. She placed her purse on the countertop gently and took her seat. As she took off her sunglasses and put them back into the purse, she noticed another girl sitting next to her. “Are you new here? I’ve never seen you around before.” She asked her with an eyebrow raised slightly.

She gave a small sigh to see that he wasn’t too upset. She already gave herself a mental slap on her forehead. Time to be friendly. “It’s nice to meet you Kendrick.” She responded to him. She then shook her head. “No. I meant to just turn around, but I lost my balance slightly before catching myself a little late.” She replied and tucked a few pieces of hair behind her ear. Only she would be able to do such a thing. “Hold on one second, I’m gonna order my coffee.” She turned back around and ordered herself a caramel mocha with whip cream. She then turned back towards him. “So… what are you drinking?” She motioned towards his coffee.

Whiskey. Neat, please.

It’s funny how revealing someone’s choice of drink can be. There’s just something about a girl who drinks whiskey, besides being a little bit badass, she’s usually just as sophisticated and intense as her drink is.
The opposite of a basic girl, you’ll never be unfulfilled or uninspired with a girl who drinks whiskey,
who prefer to taste the liquor as it was intended: Raw and pure. Harsh but true. Dangerous and delicious. Coincidentally, these are the same traits I admire in a woman, or a man for that matter.
This girl is crazy and reckless. She’s that summer lightning storm that leaves just as quickly as she arrives. She’s fun to watch and even harder to keep up with. If you’re willing to pay the price, by all means.
And I know all that, because that’s what I do, and that’s the kind of girls I appreciate the most.
Are you new here? I’ve never seen you around before
I glanced at the girl, and examined her subtly. She seemed interesting, and I was slightly surprised I haven’t seen her before. She doesn’t seem like the type I’d see and forget.
“Depends what you call new” I said with a subtle smirk"I moved here I think about three years ago." I explained and played with my class, twirling the deep brown liquor in circles around the transparent glass.
“How come I haven’t seen you before?” I asked and sipped my drink

Kendrick smiled at her and took a seat at the nearby table. He gently placed his coffee on the table and looked up at the girl. “No. I meant to just turn around, but I lost my balance slightly before catching myself a little late.” He chuckled at her slightly and slid his hand through his hair, making it a little messy. He nodded and pulled his phone out as she left to get coffee. “So… what are you drinking?” Kendrick looked at Ember as he heard her spoke and put his phone back into his pocket. I looked at my coffee as she pointed towards it and smiled. “White Chocolate Mocha. Less caffeine and my favorite.” He told her with a smile as he lifted his coffee cup a little. “Caramel mocha you’re favorite or something?” I asked her, trying to keep the conversation flowing. But he really doesn’t know how to keep it up right now.

Aurie took her time to glance at her and examine her. She didn’t dress up fancy nor put on makeup. Although it was good to see someone not caring about their looks while coming to a bar, she doesn’t want to show that she appreciates it. Aurie, of course, is a model and she has to maintain that status.

“Depends what you call new” Aurie couldn’t help but return back the girl’s smirk. Just before she could say anything, the bartender came out with her drink. She thanked the bartender and looked at her glass as she swirled her glass a bit. “I moved here I think about three years ago.” She took a sip of her drink and looked at the girl. “Hmmm… funny I never saw you then. I moved here around two years ago.” She told her with a slight shrug and tugged a small strand of her hair behind her ear. “How come I haven’t seen you before?” Aurie took another sip of her drink and chuckled slightly. “Well, I am more of a night owl than an early bird riser.” She told her with a smirk. “I guess you never got the luck to meet me yet.” She told her with a little authenticity in her voice and took another sip of her drink.

Quickly grabbing her coffee and returning back to him. She listened before nodding,”Mmm, nice choice. I used to drink that then tried this deliciousness and changed my mind.” She gave a small laugh before drinking some of her coffee. “Yes it is. I’ve been obsessed with caramel since I was young, just never gotten one of these till now. And the added chocolate makes me love it even more.” She joked with him and took a seat across from him. Any type of caramel candy she had would be all gone in a maximum of a week. That stuff was her addiction. Not the best one, but better than most. She looked back up at Kendrick. “Have I just not really met you before or are you new here?” She questioned him curiously.

*“Good good. got me worried there” * I laughed lightly and shook my head, removing Lacey’s leash because she always stayed with me. She wasn’t the type of dog to run away or anything. Taking the leash in my hands, I put it in my pocket, looking back to Miles. “Oh, I did?” I asked, chuckling as I looked around us. “I don’t even have a partner, where did the kids come from?” I laughed and shrugged. “You tell me. They’re your kids.” I teased, sending him a wink.
Yes! We should get matching thing 1 and 2 onezies. halloween too.” I laughed at that and bit my lip, shaking my head lightly. “Oh my, what have I done…” I joked. “We might have to think of something cuter than a red onesie though…” I said with a giggle, brushing some hair out of my face.

“Addison!” I smiled once he recognized me and hugged him back with a giggle. “I’ve missed you.” I raised my brows and patted him on the back in a friendly way. “I’ve missed you too!” I said. “And yes… It’s me. Actually me , I don’t know what he’s told you.” I nodded as we separated from our hug and looked around us before focusing back to him. “So, I was right… How are you? I mean, I haven’t seen you in forever…” I told him, tilting my head to the side lightly. “And he hasn’t told me much actually, though I knew it was you when you were reaching for that snack.” I said with a light giggle, pointing to the snack he had in his hands.

I had arranged a deal that I would be the one to go out today. I decided to start out my day by taking a shower, then changing into some clothes. I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to do today, but I had heard about the fair and did want to go to that. That event was later in the day though, so I had to wait.

I went downstairs to make some breakfast and decided to make some breakfast for Kato as well. I did feel pretty bad, even though he hurt me pretty badly yesterday. He was hurt inside though, I just had to remember that. I took a deep breath, then looked around for ingredients to make breakfast. F-ck. I cringed slightly at the sudden pang I felt in my head. Ever since I was knocked out yesterday, my head had been hurting like crazy. I took a deep breath, then went to take some medicine to alienate the pain a little. I then went back to picking out the ingredients and beginning to make breakfast.

After I was done, I served some food on one plate and some food on the other plate. Half an hour later, after I had delivered the food and eaten some myself, I made sure that my dogs were fed. I went to the bathroom, then looked in the mirror. I sighed as I looked at the bruises on the left side of my face and the bandages on the right side of my face which were covering stitches. With another sigh, I left the room and grabbed my things, before leaving the house. As I stepped out of the house, I immediately squinted at the brightness of the sun, then ran to my car to escape the bright light. Unfortunately, once I got in my car, I realized that it was still very bright. I decided that I’d go to the mall to buy some things that I needed, especially since I did have injuries and a concussion. I then started the car, knowing that I shouldn’t be driving with a concussion, but deciding to do so anyway.

Once I parked in the parking lot near the mall, I got out of my car and started heading to the mall, when some girl walked up to me.

“Kato hey, what’re you doing here?”

My eyebrows furrowed. “Hey, I’m about to go into the mall to buy some stuff. But uh, who are you?” I asked, not recognizing her. I then noticed Leo behind her and began waving my arms in the air. “Hey, Leo! My dude!” I shouted, then made some random motions and started dancing out of nowhere. I then winced as I felt the pain in my head. I stopped dancing and looked at the girl.

“So, I was right… How are you? I mean, I haven’t seen you in forever…”

I sighed. “I’m alright. I think I’m seeing things though… And it feels like someone’s after me.” I looked around, making sure nobody else was in the same aisle as us. “I’m scared… And that makes me weak. I’m so weak, I’m stupid, I’m useless, I’m nothing…” I pulled on my hair slightly, then looked at Addison with frantic eyes. “Forget I said all that.” I told her, shaking my head, then turning away.

“And he hasn’t told me much actually, though I knew it was you when you were reaching for that snack.”

I nodded with a small sigh. “Yeah… he didn’t have that snack at home…”

Kendrick smiled at her and took a sip of his coffee. “Chocolate, definitely yes. Caramel, not a big fan of it.” He shrugged with a smile. “Have I just not really met you before or are you new here?” He chuckled slightly to himself and looked back at her. “Uhhh… both?” He raised his eyebrow a little, sort of a confused reaction. “I moved here a year ago but I just really didn’t socialize with anyone after. So, I guess I’m kinda new here, after all.” He shrugged it off and took another sip of the coffee. “So, what have you been up to sine quarantine?” He asked her, trying to change the subject.

Orion was unsure what to do with his day, but part way through the day he decided to head to the beach. He hadn’t been there long when he heard his name. He had been looking at his phone, seeing who all had been exposed on the site so far. Luckily, his secret was still safe, not that there was more than just a couple of people who knew. Turning, he saw Leilani. “Yeah I’m Orion.” Orion has seen Leilani around, so he knew who she was, but they hadn’t ever reached gotten to know each other. “Hanging out here all by yourself?”

@BlackBlood - Leilani

Calypso had checked the exposure site more times than she could count that morning and the night before. She was nervous that someone would reveal what they knew about her. Only a few people knew anything, but one of those few was Natalina who had a secret, that Calypso knew revealed. Calypso was worried it would get out, and she had no idea what she would do if it did. Forcing herself to stop looking at the site, she decided it would be best to take some time to get out of the house. Taking Bandit with her she decided to drive to the cafe to get something to eat before taking Bandit to the park. As soon as she walked inside she was pulled towards another girl and dog. As she got closer, she saw the girl was Naia. Calypso gave a small apologetic smile as she pulled Bandit, who was already greeting the husky, back slightly. “Sorry, he was a little excited.” Calypso knew there had been a post about Naia on the exposure site, but she didn’t know Naia well enough to know if it would be a good idea to ask how she was doing with it.

Calypso smiled at his complement. “Thanks.” I’ve always thought Calypso was a pretty name. It’s nice to hear someone else likes it too. She nodded. “Yeah very few do. Even though photography has just ever been a hobby for me, I just can’t help but admire the beauty of a well taken photograph. Which is why I keep my camera with me most of the time, even when taking my dog for a walk,” She glanced at Bandit sitting at her feet. “just in case the perfect opportunity for a photo arises.” Calypso looked down at her camera for a second then back to Fadil. “Mine is a (insert type of high quality camera here).”

“I’m alright. I think I’m seeing things though… And it feels like someone’s after me.” I raised my brows and parted my lips in confusion. “Why would someone be after you?” I asked, a light frown forming upon my lips. I was worried for him.

“I’m scared… And that makes me weak. I’m so weak, I’m stupid, I’m useless, I’m nothing…”
I watched as he pulled his hair, my brows furrowing as I reached my hand onto his wrist - gently guiding it away from that. “Don’t say that… That’s not true. Do you need some help? I know some people who work at the hospital if you need anything.” I said, sending him a sweet smile as I looked at him. He looked like he had severe anxiety. I wondered what had happened to make him feel this way…
*"Forget I said all that.” I shook my head and watched as he turned away. “Kato, no, it’s alright. Listen, I’m here if you need someone to talk to, alright?” I said, sending him a reassuring smile. “Perhaps in a different environment so it’s more comfortable, hm?” I said with a friendly nod. The supermarket was no place to open up about things, that’s for sure.

“Interesting,” I said, even if not too closely personal, there weren’t a lot of people in lime grove that I didn’t know at least my face or by name.
Well, I am more of a night owl than an early bird riser.
“Early bird risers are not to be trusted.” I said with a slight smile and took a small sip of my drink “It’s kind of funny that we haven’t crossed passes before”
I guess you never got the luck to meet me yet.
“It’s like falling stars, they’re there every night but you’re almost never lucky just enough to meet one,” I said and looked at her as put down my glass and ran a hand through my hair, moving it to the other side.
I analyzed her a bit, I wouldn’t call it a hobby but I definitely liked doing that.
As for a first impression, by her body language and the short intersection we’ve had until now, the main thing I can see is that she’s very confident, like she knows her worth and her place, keeping it in mind as she lives her life freely doing only what she loves.
She seemed like someone who can take care of herself and not be dependent on someone else to be happy, which is a quality I appreciate a lot in people in general.
She seemed to give a lot of attention to her exterior look, whether it was the outfit, the makeup or other criteria in my conclusion. I liked that, honestly I almost never wear makeup, but dressing up can definitely be fun at times. Yadda yadda and all, but eventually I mostly just wear black, fancy or not. It was always my colour, I mean, have you seen my closet? Or my kitchen too for that matter.
And the whole whiskey neat part.
I have a good feeling about her.
“I’m Aria by the way” I said with a light smirk

I laughed “I was probably drunk when I had them, guess we’ll never know though” I said “For the record they’re top quality kids, I should start marketing those” I joked
Oh my, what have I done…
“The lord’s holy work” I joked. I wasn’t a huge believer in any religions. My family was Christian, they were pretty religious too, but growing up I realized that wasn’t the perspective I wanted for my life.
We might have to think of something cuter than a red onesie though…
“Fair enough” I chuckled. I loved Halloween, red onesies or not, it was one of my favorite holidays by far. Though Christmas has my heart, but who doesn’t like Christmas?
“We have time, Halloween is in ages” I said “but it’s never to early to come up with ideas” I smirked

“I was probably drunk when I had them, guess we’ll never know though” I laughed at that and shook my head. “Sucks… Though, pregnancies do not happen that fast, dear. Adoption would be a more reasonable answer.” I teased with a giggle.
“For the record they’re top quality kids, I should start marketing those” I raised my brows and nodded. “You should market your kids? Woah, what a great dad.” I joked, giving him a goofy grin.
“Fair enough… We have time, Halloween is in ages, but it’s never to early to come up with ideas”
I smiled lightly and let out a laugh. “Tis true… Do you have any ideas then?” I asked, raising a brow as we walked along the trail - turning in random directions that we didn’t even pay attention to. My legs were getting tired and we were going up hill. I then looked up to Miles with a sweet smile - yes, a very sweet smile that showed I wanted something. He would probably know whats up by just looking at me. “Piggy back ride?” I said, pouting playfully as I looked towards him. I didn’t even wait for his answer - Instead, I hopped onto his back with a chuckle as I ruffled his hair. “Oh, my legs were killing me. Your such a great form of transportation.” I teased.

How I’ll be as a father was a thought that popped in my head quite a lot. I’m still 25 it’s not like I’m old or anything, but sooner or later I do want to start a family, and being a good father was something I knew I wanted to do.
Tis true… Do you have any ideas then?
“Not just yet… patience” I said and signaled her to wait with my hand “I’ll have ideas, I always do” I said

I chuckled and shook my head. I didn’t even need to answer, I’d obviously say yes.

☆CLONE☆ - Aries and Knox 《Day 2》

Hearing her gum dealing background was surprisingly…impressive. He gave an approving nod before giving another short congratulatory applause.
“And that was when Knox Manes decided she was going to take over the world with her illegal top-selling business.”
“And who was that? The snails.”
Aries narrowed his eyes over at her. “Just for saying that, I’m going to challenge you to a race on of these days. Then we’ll see who’s the snail.”
He gave a light smile as she briefly went over her occupation. “Ah, she’s a model. Explains the high dosage of cockiness ya got there,” he teased before answering her question with a short response of his own, knowing it waa rather a dull subject for those who didn’t understand it.
“I’m a COO of my family’s tech company. Mostly in charge of cyber security, new products, things like that,” he said with a shrug. He turned the corner and walked a bit faster as they arrived to the cafe. He held the door open for her and smirked as he gestured for her to enter.
“Do I get huge bonus points for the gentlemanliness I’m pulling right now?”

☆CLONE☆ Aries and Hestia 《Day 1》

He’d known her long enough to notice the slight wince she made at his words. It was safe to say that she was not pleased with that excuse in the slightest.
“Funny, Orion was right.”
His brows furrowed into confusion at the mention of his younger brother. “Wait-what?” He blinked a few times before questioning again. “Orion and right can mever be used in the same sentence. It’s a grammatical catastrophe. So you could see why that sentence might come as a bit of a shock to me,” he said with a light chuckle, still attempting to diffuse the tension. It was evident this was not a conversation he was going to evade with charm or wit. And facing these emotional situations head on was most defintely not his strong suit. He watched her get up and begin walking to the door. “Hes!” He strangely fumbled with his legs as he tripped over the fallen pillow, jogging over to her.
“Hestia, just-can you just hold on a second?” He grabbed her by the arm just to get her to stop.
It was the last thought that should have crossed his mind. And he was a complete douchebag for letting it. But what if she told…what if she told everything? The thieving, the fake appearances…that kiss?
He licked his lips before letting out a sigh, looking down at her. “You don’t have to do that. Let’s just…order some pizza, hunker down, make a blanket fort and-and pretend this didn’t happen, right?” He said with a nervous laugh. And more than anything really…Hestia was one of his closest friends. Someone he could dend a quick text and be distracted from reality for a while. When he’d felt somewhat isolated… He might have ruined that all because her lips suddenly looked plumper than usual. It was very evident he was unclear on how to remedy the situation. On how to win the discussion, the upper hand…anything. He could smooth talk and persuade a businessman to make a compromise, but he was failing at explaining what he’d just done to Hestia. In the end…his thoughts were selfish.
“Right?” He repeated insistently, taking a step closer to her.

Aries and Vivia 《Current Day》

“You know I hate that nickname,” she stated, clearly annoyed. Aries gave a cocksure grin as he let the key dangling from his finger slide off into her palm. “Why do you think I call you it?”
“Thank you,”
She looked down at her feet and Aries lifted a brow, bending over and shifting his body to look up at her since she wouldn’t meet his face.
“I-Im sorry,” he took in a deep breath and put his hands on his hips, still bended over. “Is that gratitude I smell? With a tangy hint of humility?” He finally stood up straight again and began fanning his hands toward his nose. “Lemme just-ya know- make sure I capture this scent for future reference.”

Once the pair had arrived at the library, Adeline said something about needing to change clothes to which Mateo shrugged and told her he would wait for her. He figured that he looked decent enough as is; besides, even if he wanted to change what he currently wore, he would have had to stop by his house for a spare outfit which would have taken too much time. Although it was habitual to lean against whatever surface he was near, he refrained from leaning against the shelves that he now waited at. Every once and awhile, he would look at the children nearby and throw them a smile along with the librarian; it would be rude to be entirely standoffish, right?
Eventually, Adeline returned and her presence next to him was welcomed. Aside from her general presence reassuring him just a tad, her casual attire now made him feel more at ease as she spoke to him. He only nodded and gave her a quick smile as if to tell her that it really was not an issue. While the situation was a bit out of his comfort zone, he knew that they would somehow get through it. For now though, he would let her lead as it was mostly for her benefit.
Although he did respond when addressed, of course. The librarian was quick to speak to him, clearly nervous though Mateo acted as if he did not notice. “Yes ma’am, I felt that it was my duty to not only aid Ms. Foxx but the children as well. Thank you for having us, Ms. Hobbs,” he answered somewhat cheesily. There was a charming grin now on his face as he took her hand (the one that was not twirling a strand of hair, of course) and kissed the surface gently. The encounter flew by as the flustered woman led them to the front so that they were able to make their entrance for the cameras.
Mateo mimicked Adeline’s bright smile all while bringing in his own personality. One may say that it was a bit more natural than her’s but it still stunned him a little when he glanced at her for a brief moment. He noticed now that she had fixed her hair to be more presentable although it had looked fine before in his opinion. Of course, he could not help but notice the light coat of lipstick, either. Yet he turned his attention to the children once again, waiting for her to say something.
Inwardly, he cringed at her opening sentence although it was admittedly a bit amusing. He could not completely hide his amusement for once, though, as a smirk pulled at the corner of his mouth.
The whole exchange between Adeline and Perseus was one that Mateo already knew he would tease her about from now on, though. So… at least there was already one bonus to being there.
It surprised Mateo to hear a little girl ask if he was Tarzan because her name is “Jaaaaane.” The kid had more game than himself which was impressive. Allowing laughter to leave his mouth, he shook his head as another kid piped in to say he was Aquaman. Although the kids continued their talking, his shoulders lifted as he answered, “I’m whoever you all want me to be but my name is Mateo. This,” he continued, gesturing towards Adeline, “is my lovely sidekick, Adeline.”
Everything was more hectic than Mateo had initially expected it to be but he had no complaints. At least, not until Adeline suggested a puppet show. Before he could suggest anything else, he was dragged behind the stage without his consent.
Remember how he thought the two would survive this? Now all of his hope was gone. He did an okay job at charming people and goofing around but improvising an entertaining story for kids on the spot? It wasn’t exactly something he had much experience in. “Just for the record, this is a terrible idea.” There was worry shining is his eyes as he drew out a blonde, princess puppet. Although he knew he would butcher a girl’s voice, he figured it may work in their favor… perhaps. He stuffed his hand inside of the puppet, a wand in his other hand in case he needed a prop for her. Taking a deep breath, she whipped onto the stage. Obnoxiously loud and terribly high-pitched singing-- if you could even refer to it as that --began to leave his mouth as he over-exaggerated the puppet’s movements. He waited for Adeline’s cop to show up so that they could then improvise a small sketch. Once he finally stopped singing, he loudly stated in a shrill voice, “Who are you to say that to me?!”

@jaytastic || Adeline I’m not great at improvising stories ahaha I hope this will suffice-- if not, I can add more! Sorry I took forever by the way!

By the time Naia had noticed that another person had entered the cafe, it was already too late. Pippa tugged a little on her leash as she greeted another dog who seemed even more anxious to reach her. Thankfully, Pippa was not forceful enough to yank her out of her seat although she did find herself having to readjust a little. Once the two dogs had settled down enough so that the two girls were no longer being pulled harshly, Naia looked up at the girl with a sheepish, small smile. “It’s alright-- no big deal at all. If anything, he’s cute so I forgive him,” she replied with a friendly tone.
In the back of her mind, though, she could help but wander if the girl had seen the post about her on the exposure site… If she had, did she connect that she was one of the people exposed? After all, the two had never gotten too acquainted. In fact, she worried that she may have the wrong name in mind. “Oh, you’re Calypso, by the way, right? Just wanna make sure that I didn’t get you mixed up with someone since we haven’t spoken much before,” she added on with a quiet laugh. Naia was hesitant to say anything, her confidence having taken a toll the past few days.
