As Leo caught up she could feel her blood boil and annoy tolerance dramatically decrease.
”What a pleasant surprise.”
“Shut up.” She muttered.
She couldn’t believe herself. She gave into Leo’s mischievous plan for what? At what cost? For closure? She was disappointed in herself and her curiosity. It’d be the downfall of his career, all because she was being nosy. She knew it was none of her business, but she kept poking and prodding, popping holes slowly waiting for Kato to deflate.
“Well you’re the one who decided this, I thought you had an idea!” She yelled.
She was a bull that had just seen red.
She sighed and decided to ignore his insult.
She faced him with an expressionless and emotionless face. You could hear a monotone voice just by staring at her.
“Just… don’t be so abrupt. He was… scared when I spoke to him last. Just… be calm and less… like you.” I shook my head with disgust.
She furrowed her brows.
He then drew closer with a playful smirk.
His jerk and douchebag attitude pushed her off the edge. He thought he could get away with anything.
With great fury and aggression she slapped Leo across the face.
“Get the h-ll away from me!” She yelled shaking her head and making her way to Kato.
Taking a deep breath before speaking, she lowered her voice and plastered a warm, welcoming smile on her face. “Kato hey, what’re you doing here?”
