So mario party superstars is out and what do you think of it? Seems to be appealing to nostalgia (and that’s really good) But what do you guys think of it? I’m debating to get it because that’d probably be fun with friends. Especially since it has online and you can play with whoever.

Is it good though? Because sometimes when appealing to nostalgia the faults can be glossed over by the rose tinted spectacles
Honestly though mario games are usually fun

Should probably point out I’ve never played the old games, so it’s basically a brand new game to me with only a bit of familiarity but very little. Only really remember mario party 8
It’s got the boards from a few of the old mario party’s and the minigames from all of them (doesn’t have every minigame though) Seen a few of the boards and it’s honestly just how I would expect a good mario party game to play. With the only downside being if you’re playing with friends you’re probably gonna wanna murder the 1 friend with all the stars. 
In all seriousness to me it just looks appealing since it’s actually entertaining and it gives new people a chance to play the good old boards and returning players a day to renew their nostalgia. Probably best if you play with friends though. Whether online or locally
And agreed. party is just the hit and miss series i’d say.
