One of them has the slayer logo, so I’m going to go into my experiences with some slayer fans. Okay the ones I’ve come across are rude as hell, they believe that Slayer is the heaviest and best band in the world and if you don’t listen to them you’re a poser.
Not all slayer fans though, I like slayer soooo 
Metal Elitists sure have this “I’m not like the other metalheads” mentality when they’re behaving like whiny primary school kids!
Some of the things I’ve noticed on social media, a page will post something about a band e.g. sleeping with sirens, they just released an album and all the page will be doing is saying “check out the new sleeping with sirens album it’s really good” then you get people in the comment section going “ew that’s not real metal” nowhere in the post did it say “this is metal” it’s like they’re just trying to pick arguments.
I know right. Sleeping With Sirens do count as metal, their argument is invalid! Metal Elitists are the biggest manipulators on earth. They love to manipulate metal facts as well!
They don’t box themselves into one genre which is what I like about them, on the album madness you get songs like “heroine” which isn’t metal but it sounds lovely, they you get songs like “kick me” which is significantly heavier.
An ex of mine that I’m still friends with likes to rant about the bands I like saying that “they’re high school bands, grow up” and that kind of stuff but then I listened to the music he likes and disliked it immensely

The elitists are in hiding right now because of the MCR reunion and realising they are completely out numbered “MCR aren’t rock/metal or emo you posers sksksks” fans come out to play “run”

The general attitude of an elitist:
Elitist: wow I found a band that 3 people know about this is awesome
more well known band get’s put on the cover of Kerrang
Elitist: ew posers that’s not real music
the band they like becomes more well known
Elitist: what a bunch of sell outs
It must be hard living with such permanent aggression towards things that bring other people joy.
Lol tell me about it! Usually fans get happy when the bands get recognised by Kerrang, Rocksound and all that.
The only music magazine thing I don’t like is NME

Something else I don’t like about metal elitists is the fact they are really rude about female metal vocalists. Or just about metal bands with females in.

Exactly!! They’re so sexist it’s ridiculous!! There are a lot of female vocalists that can scream.
Ugh I guess Elitists live in the comment section of Kerrang, bvb released new music and all I can see is people saying:
“Ugh the make up”
“Wannabes”
“This sucks it’s not metal!”
If ya don’t like it then don’t listen to it!
I’m not a 13 year old whiny emo kid I’m 18 and I’m just a fan of this band, there is no point in being a d*ck about it.
Exactly! It’s getting absolutely ridiculous that they’re ragging on about BVB like come on, just stop talking about them and move on. Simple! I know I used to go on about how much I hated Paramore but at least I don’t do that s**t anymore.
Well you grew up yet those guys are in there 30s thinking it’s okay to have a go at people my age for liking them
