The books is so good and the movie is just so boring compared to the book

The book is much less cliche. The plot is almost completely different. The only things that are the same are the names of the characters

Basically about a girl finding a new coping mechanism for all her problems by doing certain 18+ stuff with the guy she hates and hiding that from everyone until even more problems arise.

It really is, I don’t understand why they changed so much about the story
Ooh, I came here just to talk about The Giver.
For one, they made the Twelves eighteen instead of, well, twelve.
And I don’t like how they made Asher this responsible dude, when in the books, he was this fun, carefree person, while Jonas was the responsible one.
