Almost robotically, she picked up the pair of scissors resting on the counter that she had grabbed from the kitchen moments ago. The metal glinting menacingly under the bathroom light. The first snip echoed in the silence, a small defiance against the yawning uncertainty that loomed around her.

The amount of detail in the whole post, just blew my mind away. But this just…wow. I have no words.

She looked healthy—not stretched skin over bones that wanted one night of peace.

All I could imagine was the stretched out piece of skin last from doctor who (I can’t remember her name or anything -sorry)

raced toward the maze behind the house, a half-formed thought urging her to escape, to lose herself in the winding hedges and twisting paths that had once felt like a sanctuary.

Something about the maze was making her feel uneasy and she couldn’t shake it. It felt like something dreadful was looming overhead. She became quiet and crouched down on the ground as the dizziness got stronger.
