I personally really like his voice. I never really listened to the lyrics because I just really like the music itself.
But “My Way” always reminds me of working in the garden because a hardware store used this song in their ads 
I have a little confession to make - so, I looked him up because I only knew two of his songs and I wanted to listen to something else… I had no idea he sings I love you baby…
Am I ashamed? Yes.
I like his music especially when he and the other guys singing Mr boose
