Thereâs maybe 2 people left in the world that he remotely trusts at that point. His sister, and probably Harryâs sister. But even both of them are to a much lesser extent than he trusted harry and AddieâŚ

Leo is running off of what he knows
He doesnât know what Harry will become
He thinks Addie will get the harry that Leoâs known all these years
Jackie finally saw the real rich
He doesnât think he deserves her
Harry was always amazing as his best friend, he would deserve someone as amazing as Addie.
The instant Leo and Addie were married, there wouldâve been nothing rich couldâve done to keep Leo from fighting for her and helping her succeed.
He couldnât safely do more until they were married. He knows his father would retaliate, but once he was married to Addie, heâd be able to better protect her.
Leo doesnât see it that way
Heâs so broken, and everything his father has said his whole life is running on repeat in his headâŚ
