Depressing miscs are actually kinda fun to write in a way though.

Like, it hurts to write them, but they can be so interesting, and it feels like understanding the character so much more.

I’m actually so motivated with writing right now, but most of that motivation isn’t on BR/BR2 characters. (A few days ago I got an idea that would make for a cool book, and I’m kinda loving those characters so far) But I’m hoping I can use some of that other writing motivation to do push me to write some posts/miscs too

I will say, when I started that misc, I was thinking about doing that moment.

But then I started, and quickly switched to Leo’s first moment alone after the point Addie was getting married. Instead of it being him breaking reading that note and being worried about her when he couldn’t find her, its him completely breaking/going into panic attack mode… which then led to him getting back home that next day basically, and seeing his dad…

Twenty one f^^king years old, and he still couldn’t stand up to his father. He couldn’t fight back. He tried so many times, but any time he tried, it only got worse. As a child he begged. As a teenager, he fought and tried to resist. Nothing worked, nothing made it easier, nothing stopped it. The most he could do was let his shirt fall to the floor so it wouldn’t be ruined in the process, and brace himself against the wall.
