He can be convinced to compromise, but only to a middle ground. It doesn’t have to be only healthier. He just wants there to not be only junk food and some healthier options added into the mix.

wiping her sticky hands on her pajamas before Kai could stop her. What? IT WAS THERE OKAY.

Which means hands get washed promptly, and clothes get changed once pancakes are done.

By that point there was no hope of the kitchen staying even slightly clean

Aria’s definition of “gently” was questionable. Batter splattered in every direction as she enthusiastically stirred, her giggles echoing through the kitchen. By the time the mixture was ready, it looked like a pancake war zone.

Based on this whole situation, I feel like Aria may have inherited Addie’s kitchen “skills”

Aria cheered, bouncing on her stool - to which she found her dad placing a hand on her back. COME ON DAD SHE’S NOT GONNA FALL PROMISE.

He’s just gotta make sure she doesn’t fall

Kai chuckled, watching her with a mix of amusement and affection. “Just don’t tell Mommy we made this mess, alright? Orrrrrr that we had pancakes instead of oatmeal.”

He can’t let her know he caved

Flour still lingered on the counter, a suspicious amount of syrup stuck to the table

He probably tried to clean most of it up…
He just can’t help it if he missed some…
