I started learning Japanese in 2020 because I got bored during the first lockdown when school was nonexistent and Duolingo was fun
(I have since done actual Japanese courses)

Now, Iā€™ve been off school and unemployed for two months, got bored and started learning Korean
(my school doesnā€™t offer Korean so thatā€™s going to continue to be self-study)

Me learning German, lol. Iā€™d learn Japanese, but the Romanji\Kanji would probably melt my brain. Ar least with German, there are only a couple new letters.

it can definitely be an acquired taste

(funny enough, what i didnā€™t like about the matcha lattes at Starbucks actually ended up being the sweetner - they taste way better if you lower the amount of cane sugar syrup in them)

Itā€™s veryā€¦grassy tasting. I found bubble tea and matcha Kit Kats. Iā€™m considering trying their matcha lemonade.
