I don’t know, just thinking comparison wise, between the Jess/Dori relationship and the Jess/Andy relationship and Kai/Skye, I kinda feel like they’re closer to Jess/Andy. Is it accurate? Hard to say, I could be wrong. I’d probably need to see some more Jess/Andy to compare better. It could be closer to Jess/Dori, but again, Jess and Dori together never really made sense to me.

I don’t see Kai and Skye as meant to be either.
She was a very notable part of his life, and a great love, but they weren’t meant to be.

Very cute, they loved and trusted each other, but part of it was because of their situation.
Part of what really sparked things was how she said no to meaningless sex. She was the first person who had set a boundary like that with Kai. Which pushed them to develop that friendship. Which combined with physical attraction sparked a romantic connection. Less passion based, more just caring.

Someone on the staff who knew about Kai and his relationship to Skye and the baby (someone more trustworthy) would’ve been the one who made sure Kai got to name her.
And palace staff would’ve brought Scarlet to the palace. Which Kai’s wife would’ve allowed because she knew she could use the baby as a method of controlling Kai.
