So if we have a 2 yo boy who has fever, vomiting,a nd sleepiness. Canāt wake up for sht once he went to sleep. Has rhinorrhea and fever for like three days. Also this kid has had multiple illnesses and an INCREASED BLOOD AMMONIA LEVEL and increased OROTIC ACID excretion in the urine. What are we thinking huh? Whatās going on with this unresive lil boy?

cause that ammonia level being high is like a big clue
see see you neeed that enzyme to move bicarb and ammonia into citrulline and if that doesnāt happen, then ammonia is high and thatās super bad for you.
plus this is the most common urea cycle disorder
so like this kid having too much ammonia, which is neurotoxic, is causing his vomiting and coma and and tachypnea

Residual hip pain. My damn dorm only has showers, which scares me due to having rocky balance on a good dayā¦I think Iām having ptsd from all the school shootings that have happened, because I mistook a door unlocking for a gun cocking, and have been crying on an off for the whole week. Can you even have ptsd from something you havenāt seen? Sorry for unloading that.

if youāre trying to compare something like ālevels of creatinine kinaseā between groups diided into 4 different therapies - what do you see? You see one QUANTITATIVE (Numbers matter) group and one QUALITATIVE group.
So what kind of test do you use?

Now if this was two CATEGORIAL groups -weād use a chi square test
if this was to QUANTITATIVE things - weād use a correlation coefficient
T tests are a lil different - those are comparing the mean of a quantitative variable between two groups. (So quantitiative and qualitative again). But a paired t test are when the groups are dependent (before and after type deal); and an independent t test is when the group is INDEPENDENT (mean of a main variable)

Iām going to try and find a therapist on campus. Iām seriously just considering permanently dropping out, with the car accident and now all these college shootings. I feel like Iām being dramatic.
