He can be convinced to compromise, but only to a middle ground. It doesnât have to be only healthier. He just wants there to not be only junk food and some healthier options added into the mix.

A change of pace was needed in general after not being able to have much choice in it for so long, and to at least lessen people recognizing him as the former prince.
Just being real is the key. He gets to be himself instead of having to fit in the mold someone else decides is right for him.

Well when he goes from oatmeal to something closer to the middle like pancakes its different from going from the middle with cereal to donuts
