CRYING
Wow Iâm done with Addie @Littlefeets
Not like done done
But done with this never ending weekend
And yeah my writing got sloppy af at the end of that post and I felt like I was repeating myself and using the same metaphors
BUT
Idc
Iâm done omg
Omg
This weekend has taken me like 7 months
Crazy
Ahh the next part!
It was a lot for one nightâŚ
He canât hide it in his sleepâŚ
Needing her to know he was still there, and him needing to know she was still there
Even awake, itâs not easy containing how heâs feeling at this pointâŚ
He didnât want to leave her anywayâŚ
But especially not after everythingâŚ
Itâs how he has to be. Heâll survive. Regardless of anything beneath the surfaceâŚ
Unfortunately itâs still another 2 years until heâs even bornâŚ
Good riddance
Regardless of if heâs ok or not, heâd still check on her
Just like most things he says, particularly in regards to Leo
Again, like most things that would come out of Richardâs mouthâŚ
All she has to do is give the word
Nothing would stop him from owning itâŚ
From owning Leo in that moment tooâŚ
He grew up without having a choice. He had to, to surviveâŚ
With Richard especially.
Leo needs Addie when it comes to his dad being around, but he also wants to protect her from himâŚ
He resisted as much as he could
He didnât want to leave her at all
Leo was given zero choice in the matter
Good. Someone needed to rescue her
Otherwise Leo wouldâve eventually gotten the chance to get involved first, and I canât imagine that wou;dâve gone well.
Leo understands thatâŚ
Heâd do anything to protect her
There was no way he wouldnât notice
Probably wouldâve said Leonardo, instead of Leo.
Only close friends, and Addie get to use Leo.
And Richard would probably prefer using his sonâs full name in general
And he probably needed it too.
Definitely had the importance of that emphasized
He made his decision, but at least it was approval
His first priority is to be there for her and make sure sheâs okay
Nothing could change his mind on that
Leo doesnât even think thereâs anything she could need to prove
Leo couldnât sit by and let her think that
Sheâll always be enough.
He knows her too well
He didnât feel any better about it eitherâŚ
He needed to be able to see her, face to face.
Heâs learned to deal with them his whole life, and he doesnât want Addie to change and conform to what they expect. He wants his Addie. The version of her he fell in love with.
He wanted her to be awake for it
He knows how much it matters to her. To both of them
Heâd do everything to make her happy.
Yeah, the never ending weekend that only seemed like it would just keep getting longer
But its finally done
Either way, it was still good. And now itâs done.
Laaaaaast part yayaya
It was the worst night of their entire relationship
Poor Leo
Heâs been through too much in this lifetime

Needing her to know he was still there, and him needing to know she was still there
They both were

Itâs how he has to be. Heâll survive. Regardless of anything beneath the surface
Surviving and thriving are very different things

Even awake, itâs not easy containing how heâs feeling at this pointâŚ
Heâs also been through so damn much in a night
You can only hide so much

A groan escaped him, his jaw tightening. He didnât want to leave her. Not after everything.
He didnât want to leave her anywayâŚ
But especially not after everything
He knew she wasnât feeling well about everything

Unfortunately itâs still another 2 years until heâs even bornâŚ
And like 25 years after that until he even considers making one

Hannah leaned in closer, her voice a low,
âDid you hear?â she whispered, eyes glinting with barely contained excitement. âLaurenâs gone. I saw her stuff being packed up early this morning.âGood riddance
Yeah I wonder how
Whereâs Preston too Leo? Addie hasnât seen him around
What did you do Leo

pear if she let go. For a long moment, she didnât say a wordâcouldnât. She only held him tighter, burying her face against his neck, letting his warmth anchor her.

What happened at golf Leo

âHow are you feeling?â His voice was low, roughened by concern, but there was something steadier beneath it. She just⌠she wanted him to be okay and here he was checking in on her.
Regardless of if heâs ok or not, heâd still check on her
She loves him so damn much

It was both a command and a warning
Just like most things he says, particularly in regards to Leo
Oh Leo
Jackieâs sorry for leaving you with him

Nothing would stop him from owning itâŚ
From owning Leo in that moment tooâŚ
Richard buys everything anyways
He craves owning everyone and everything in the room
Everyone else better fall in like
And almost everyone always does
JackieâŚ. She didnât

He grew up without having a choice. He had to, to survive
And he did it well
And Addie has also done it
But it all feels suffocating this time around
More than usual
And she canât explain why
Because this isnât her first rodeo
But she feels like sheâs signing her life away to the devil

Richardâs eyes found hers through the crowd, and that smile deepened. It was a warning wrapped in charm. It always was with these people.
With Richard especially.
Sigh richâŚ

It wasnât immediate. At first, he resisted.
He resisted as much as he could
His eyes locked onto hers like he knew leaving her here was a mistake.
He didnât want to leave her at all
But Richard placed a firm hand on his shoulder and steered him toward another group
Leo was given zero choice in the matter
I feel so bad for Leo in that moment
Like thereâs no way he wanted to leave Addie with Richard
But rich definitely wanted Addie alone with him for a bit
So no matter now Leo fought - he had to leave
Had to leave so rich could show his daughter in law her place

Richardâs eyes sharpened. âLike those girls, youâd do well to learn your place, Adelaide.â
Oh fck off rich
We both know you used to like girls who didnât hold their tongue
Jackie would have said the exact same thing if a disgusting man was spewing nonsense
If THIS man was spewing nonsense

] âOh Rich, leave her alone. Sheâs just a baby. Sheâll learn.â He turned to Addie, eyes raking over her in a way that made her skin crawl. ] âCome on, sweetheart. How about a dance? I can teach you a lesson or two tonight?â

Ew

Addie started to refuse, but Richardâs hand pressed against her backâfirm.
âSheâd love to.â
![]()
The manâs hand was already on hers before she could argue, his grip like iron.
The dance was suffocating. Every step felt heavier. He whispered things in her earâcrude comments, promises she wanted no part of. His hand drifted lower once, then again, lingering until her stomach churned.
âIâm engaged.â Her voice was sharp, but his laugh was sharper.
âAnd? A beauty like you shouldnât be wasted on just one man.â
He pulled her closer, and she tried to push awayâbut his grip didnât budge.
âAnd, so get your grubby, disgusting fcking hands off of m-.â

Addie had no choice

âThatâs enough.â
An older woman stepped in, her eyes cold and commanding. She pulled Addie free, shielding her like a fortress. Addie didnât know who she was - but clearly she held enough power in the room that the man who was previously attempting to⌠you know⌠well he⌠he backed off. Walked away with a laugh and his hands held up as if he was caught red-handed before going to get a drink âHold your head high, dear. Never let them see it drop.â
Good. Someone needed to rescue her
Otherwise Leo wouldâve eventually gotten the chance to get involved first, and I canât imagine that wou;dâve gone well.
Older women who knows how to watch whatâs happening at a party
She wasnât going to let Addie get hurt

âAddie.â Her name wasnât a question. It was a lifeline. And God, she wanted to take it.
She knows what heâs saying without him having to spell it out

Leo understands thatâŚ
Poor Leo with Lauren
Thatâll be something he wonât ever be able to scrub away

His voice dropped lower, roughened with something sharp. Worry. Anger.
Heâd do anything to protect her
She flinched. It was small, barely noticeable, but Leo noticed. His eyes darkened, the muscles in his jaw ticking as his thumb brushed over her skin again.
But Leo needs to also watch his back
He canât just look out for her

There was no way he wouldnât notice
But she could feel his hesitation, the way his shoulders tensed as his fatherâs voice filled the room.
Leo notices everything when it comes to Addie
Except you know in like 3 years when sheâs starving herself and for some reason he didnât notice

y son, Leo,
Probably wouldâve said Leonardo, instead of Leo.
Only close friends, and Addie get to use Leo.
And Richard would probably prefer using his sonâs full name in general
I was really getting tired with writing at this point lolololol

Her nails dug slightly into Leoâs arm, but he didnât flinch. If anything, his grip tightened around her waist, grounding her. Steadying her.
And he probably needed it too.
They need each other
Yin and yang

currently sixth in line for the English throne.â
Definitely had the importance of that emphasized
Itâs and impotent thing to mention her status
And how it elevates the family status
Addie is no use to him otherwise

t wasnât just an announcement. It was a statement. A declaration to the worldâand to herâthat this was no longer her decision.
He made his decision, but at least it was approval
Rich made his decision months ago when he found out they were dating
He just wanted to make sure he taught Addie her place
Thatâs literally it

She felt Leo shift beside her, his fingers brushing over hers in a silent question. Are you okay?
She wasnât.
But there was no time to answer.
Richard leaned in, his breath too close, his voice barely a whisper.
âNow be a good girl and conform.â
![]()
This whole weekend made Addie feel so small

His first priority is to be there for her and make sure sheâs okay
Sheâs not

Her hand rested on her lap, her fingers curled loosely, but she felt the phantom weight of Richardâs words, his breath so close to her ear. Conform.
To a girl like Addie
That word is scary
And now she has seeds of doubt in her mind

Leoâs grip tightened on the steering wheel. âWe never shouldâve gone.â
Nothing could change his mind on that
He looked tired. Exhausted, even, but his eyes still held that same fireâthe one that always burned for her.
âYou shouldnât have to prove anything.â
Leo doesnât even think thereâs anything she could need to prove
âBut I do.â The words slipped out before she could stop them, and Leoâs head snapped toward her.
Leo couldnât sit by and let her think that
âNo, Addie. You donât.â His voice was sharp now, edged with something dangerous. âYouâre already enough. I hate that they made you feel like youâre not.â
Sheâll always be enough.
âYouâre still thinking about it, arenât you?â
He knows her too well
Sheâs struggling sooooooo much with all of this right now
She just
Needs to be away from that estate
Away from that terrible weekend
And back in her little bubble with Leo

âAll of it.â Her voice cracked slightly, but she didnât try to hide it. âI hated tonight.â
He didnât feel any better about it eitherâŚ
She knows
Which is why she didnât want to bring it up but heâs pulling her leg

Leoâs lips pressed into a thin line, and he pulled the car over. The engine hummed softly as he turned to face her fully.
He needed to be able to see her, face to face.
It wasnât a conversation to have while he was driving

âYouâŚyou donât have to do this if you donât want to. If this is too muchââ
âStop.â Her voice cut through his. âI want this. I want you.â
Leo searched her face, his eyes darker now.
âBut?â
She doesnât know how she feels about everything
And yes
Sheâs struggling
But she knows she wants him
And she loves him
