It was a lot for one nightâŚ
He canât hide it in his sleepâŚ
Needing her to know he was still there, and him needing to know she was still there
Even awake, itâs not easy containing how heâs feeling at this pointâŚ
He didnât want to leave her anywayâŚ
But especially not after everythingâŚ
Itâs how he has to be. Heâll survive. Regardless of anything beneath the surfaceâŚ
Unfortunately itâs still another 2 years until heâs even born⌠

Regardless of if heâs ok or not, heâd still check on her
Just like most things he says, particularly in regards to Leo
Again, like most things that would come out of Richardâs mouthâŚ
All she has to do is give the word
Nothing would stop him from owning itâŚ
From owning Leo in that moment tooâŚ
He grew up without having a choice. He had to, to surviveâŚ
With Richard especially.
Leo needs Addie when it comes to his dad being around, but he also wants to protect her from himâŚ
He resisted as much as he could

Good. Someone needed to rescue her
Otherwise Leo wouldâve eventually gotten the chance to get involved first, and I canât imagine that wou;dâve gone well.

Heâs learned to deal with them his whole life, and he doesnât want Addie to change and conform to what they expect. He wants his Addie. The version of her he fell in love with.
He wanted her to be awake for it
He knows how much it matters to her. To both of them
Heâd do everything to make her happy.
