Nikkie just came as out as transgender in her newest video. She’s Dutch and known as make up artist and has a pretty famous YouTube channel in which she did the make up of for example Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian. I don’t know if people here know but I just wanted to share this here.
Honestly I really wasn’t expecting that at all, but it was nice she’s so open even though I only watched part of the video.
I’ve watched a few more minutes and it’s quite an inspiring story she tells tbh. About just being who you want to be and act like you want to act.
I don’t know her through the Youtube channel, but through Dutch TV, nevertheless I have so much more respect for her now. It’s not easy to open up to millions of people about this, especially if you felt forced to (which she basically said), knowing that you will get hate and probably will lose followers over it. That takes a lot of courage to do.
Good for her! For some reason I kinda thought she was transgender. I haven’t watched any of her stuff though, just seen a youtuber reacting to her makeup stuff.
Wow, this is really bad. She’s been basically blackmailed by people that they would go to the press with it, like that’s the reason she made a video about it. Why can’t people just accept that people want to tell things like this at their own time and when they feel comfortable with doing it.
I’m gonna watch this at some point, not right now though. Good for her to be confident enough to come out to millions of people

Why is this a topic!?
Because in many countries this became the most watched video and it was all over the world in the news, I mean why shouldn’t it be a topic 
But there are a lot of trans people! Why does it have to be a big deal?
Because apparently people think it’s a big deal, with the amount of views and conversations about it, like I get your point but at the same time it’s really special someone who’s so famous is open about it, like I’ve never heard of a trans celebrity opening up about it before. Isn’t that something that should be talked about, and also about the way in which she was forced to do this is definitely a subject that should be talked about.
It’s a big deal because for younger (or older) closeted trans people, it’s cool to see someone who’s like you in the public eye and it gives them someone to look up to. It also gives them hope for their future.
