Wait this might sound stupid, but do ppl have their powers and whatever plus the abilities they are learning from nh? Like, it’s just that whatever group they’re in specializes in certain types and that’s additional?

My characters have their main powers as their ninth house powers, and then I added a few more for spontaneity and their own personal themes
So Mona’s highest magic skill/power is illusion crafting
But in the rp, she used additional healing powers to save Esther
