Summary
“We perform it on the 5th day in Wyndham” Aurora said, “So I think maybe 5th,”
“Yes but that’s Wyndham,” Thalia pointed out.
“In most parts of Ninth House it’s the same,” Aurora defended.
“But I don’t think for this, I think it’s the 4th,” Thalia said.
“Why would it be the 4th?” Amani asked.
"The book had the word quattro scribbled many times, it has to be important for something."Thalia said, which made a lot of sense.
Alright, our answer is the 4th day,” Aurora declared.
The screen flashed green, and an O appeared on the board, forming a diagonal line.
“We did it!” Seung-Min exclaimed, his relief palpable.
The statues froze, and the candle flame flared brighter for a moment. The screen displayed a new message:
“Congratulations. You have won the first game. You may rest for one day before the next challenge.”
A door on the far side of the chamber creaked open, revealing a comfortable-looking room with beds and food. The group exchanged relieved glances, their spirits lifting.
“Wait I thought we had to get all three correct,” Renlin was immediately shushed by everyone around him.
"If they forgot, let us forget too, " Celestine had said. “And relax, I need the relaxation,” though the image of Elijah’s bloody head was definitely not going to let her relax, it was all too much.

It’s been 2 days since they arrived at the Island, and surprisingly everything had been normal. No, really- they were expecting another game, another challenge, but everything was going strangely normal and fun- when they didn’t think about the fact that they could all die at any given time.
“Guys, have you seen Lyra?” Esther had asked as she came back from putting her feet inside the lake.
“Lyra?” Vinnie asked confused, “Oh that blonde girl, nah we haven’t seen her why?”
“Why did you, anyways,” Esther shook her head, deciding to keep her tongue for herself, “We were swimming together in the lake and suddenly she disappeared?”
Just then, the television in their room started freezing, the image distorting and the sound cutting in and out. Everyone turned to look, their relaxed mood instantly shifting to one of concern and unease.
“What’s going on?” Jesse asked, frowning at the screen.
“Maybe we should go upstairs and see if whoever spoke to us two days ago will do the same,” Hayes suggested. “Or we could go look for Lyra.”
Aurora stood up, determination in her eyes. “We need to find Lyra first. If something happened to her, we need to know. Then we can figure out what’s going on with the television.”
