“Lucky?” he raised a brow. “It just takes dedication. You should work more on your assignments, you know.” he crossed his arms. Now, Haoran was beginning to sound a lot like a mom. Not that it was uncommon for people to call him that.
He rolled his eyes. “Oh come on, you think I’m gonna screw up, right? Figured I’m not good enough.” he sighed. Haoran did have a way to get people to like him, so he was hoping he could use it to help Ciara. However, it seemed like she had doubts. He wasn’t going to give up, nor let her down.
