Do you say ‘one hundred’ or ‘a hundred’?
I think I use both but use “one” when I want to emphasize the number I’m not even sure if there’s a rule to it, maybe I’m doing it all wrong

I normally say “one hundred” or 100.
same.
I usually say ‘one hundred’, especially if I’m using it in a literal sense. I might use ‘a hundred’ if I’m using it figuratively, for example: “I’ve got a hundred things to do today!”
If I’m referring to a number in the 100s, I usually say One-oh-nine, or one-ten instead of ‘one hundred nine’ or ‘one hundred ten’. Example: Okay, everybody, turn your books to page one-oh-nine.
I pretty much always say a hundred.
Unless I’m reading a number during math class or something i guess.
I kind of say both. It just depends on what I’m talking about.
I say a hundred
Okay, I’m glad I not the only one that says one-oh- something when talking. I usually do it when I’m at work when I have to page for someone to answer a call. I also say it when I’m reading out the number that the bakery phone is connected to since it has a zero in it.
