Personality types 🄳

Fluidity makes perfect sense to me, then. And I agree, all functions are present in each individual. What makes us unique is how we predominantly use them in our daily lives.

To sum it up, the test results is just the personality type you lean towards the most.

Same-

I don’t think I’m an INTJ—at least now. Before, I may have been (I remember getting the same one taking it a lot of times to make sure when I was young). Guess who took the test and got INTP-

but I’m not gonna say I’m actually that or even INTJ, because who knows? The results may have been inaccurate because I took the test again, so I may have subconsciously chose biased and in-denial answers.

Well no one is the exact description of a type. Like I said before you can relate to much personalities and not be them. Everyone has their functions and what they are far more improved on, and what they lack in.

Like if you’re an INFP, just cos your first cognitive function is Fi doesn’t mean you’ll always gravitate with what feels right to you and what benefits your own values, sometimes you have to use Fe (valuing other’s feelings or recognizing theirs) which isn’t in your stack but as I said you need every function to operate in this world.

My results were ENFP, but I do feel like I align more with the ESFP and INFP descriptions

Which can be definitely damaging to what you know of yourself and how you answer questions, leading to mistypes and incorrect views on who you really are.

Well all the types you mentioned have Fi in their stacks, so you seem prevalent in keeping updated with your own values and maybe self image.

Which makes complete sense why you may not know your exact type between all those, and concludes you should get to know yourself better and functions to fully understand yourself and get the type that can set you up for improvement.

If you need any help with your true type btw you can PM, I’ve studied this stuff for like 2 years (still not an expert but yea.)

INTP and INFP are actually very different based off of their cognitive functions. An INTP is a Ti dom, Ne aux, Si tert, Fe inf. While INFP is an Fi dom, Ne aux, Si tert, Te inf. I don’t have much information on cognitive functions, but you can research them yourself between these two mbti type on cognitive functions to figure out which mbti type you are. I also recommend taking this test Cognitive Function Test (Grant/Brownsword, Myers), since I heard they have the most accurate results to your mbti type plus they give you the cognitive functions that is most accurate to who you are based off of your results you put in. Hope this helps.

True… I relate to a lot of INFP traits, but as I mentioned previously, I don’t relate to the stereotype of INFPs loving poetry. I’m kind of neutral about poetry, to be honest. I don’t hate it, but I’m not passionate about it.
In one of the 16-personalities videos, it says what would make each type feel jealous, and for INFPs, it’s that someone younger than you got their book published sooner.
But for me, it’s when my loved ones spend more quality time with other people, or when they ignore me.

I’m a social introvert. Do I like talking to people? No, not all the time. Can I do it? Yes.

I’m infj-t according to official tests, it’s one of the rarest so I was surprised to see so many with it :joy:

Typically just mistypes.
