I want to join, but all the pictures I took of graffiti aren’t that great sadly…

What’s wrong with that? It’s trial and error. If you only enter the “good” ones then how will you improve. Show the others off and you can see how they place amongst others and see where you can improve. (wink)

The perfectionist in me gets anxious if I share something I’m not satisfied with, but maybe it’s good to go out of my comfort zone and like you said it will probably help me grow as photographer
Okay I’ve entered @CrazyCaliope, now it’s time for my essay on what I could have done better 
Picture 1:
The composition and angle are off, also, it lacks a creative twist and the picture is sort of boring in my opinion. Sort of looks like: ‘ooh, that looks rad, let me take a quick picture’ (tho that probably is what I actually thought)
Picture 2:
Too much fading, way too much. I actually like the composition in this case, but it would have been a lot better if more of the background was visible

I guess that is true. What is sort of annoying but also amazing about photography is that you always can continue growing.
That said tho, those pictures are both more than a year old. So actually it would be very interesting to go out and search for some graffiti and see how I would photograph it today. Probably very differently cause my style has changed a lot and I’ve been improving…

I enjoy looking back on older pictures I took tho, since I feel like I can still learn from mistakes I made back then and take that with me in the present.

I’ve been walking around for like an hour almost in my town cause I needed a distraction from studying, but no succes finding any graffiti at all… I thought there would be some in a few small dark alleys but not even there
