Then the next thing I circled is this note that I didn’t exactly know what it was. Since it was only down one from C I just played the note next to C for that one. Because the actual note was like all the way across the keyboard- where both my hands would have a hard time reaching, so I assumed it wasn’t that.

Ok so. The first thing you said I marked in blue. I put a 1 on the first key you play and then a 2 on the second key you would play.
As for the next one, I put red on the notes you play. You play them together at the same time.

I was happy to play piano because I just got so tired of playing violin lol and I’m having a lot of fun learning it! I practice whenever I can and no matter how frustrating it is… I take a break then end up wanting to go back on right away! SO yeah I’m just hoping I’m doing everything right because I don’t have a teacher haha.
Yea I practice piano for like 1-2 hours a day… I just love it too much! 
Don’t quit tho!! I literally begged my mom to take me out of piano lessons when I was younger, but now I’m so great full that I’ve stayed in them.
I’m gonna get back into violin when I have the money for it lol, I don’t wanna forget it. Then I can play both piano and violin…

Yea lol. I really want to be able to play more than just 3 instruments tho and like violin is up there on my list of future instruments to learn.
If you do decide to do it- get a teacher. It was hard to learn even with a teacher and even after ALL these years I’m still getting my finger posture right. It takes work to just hold the bow right. With any other instrument tho - you can learn without but with violin… oh that would be a challenge.

Update: I’m now practicing “My Favorite Things” from The Sound of Music. I can play the first page almost to speed and I can play the rest slowly with few errors so that’s cool. Reading the music is easier as well.
