That the main character (guy) is dumb when it comes to love and never knows when a girl is hitting on them.
Or when they think they can’t hit a girl back when she beats the main character.
Changed to anime category!
The guy’s terribly oblivious to pining
The MC being called a devil or demon but they are actually a really sweet guy.
There are m a n y but here are a few:
In recent Isekai anime the title is almost always a sentence. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a new show called “Reborn as a Table in Another World: My Edges are Almost as Sharp as My Cheekbones were when I was Human!”
MC walking into tsundere love interest (usually with twintails or long hair in general. Bonus points if the hair is on the warmer-color spectrum) while they’re changing; in which the MC is smacked into oblivion and sent spiraling through space-time continuum.
Smart= glasses gleam.
Longer hair = more power unless you’re Saitama.
ahem
THE POWER OF LOVE AND FRIENDSHIP![]()
I feel like there’s no anime without at least one cliche. Which ones do you guys think are the most annoying, though? @AnimeNerds
I think that there have been a ton of isekai shows which all feature bland audience stand-ins, which I’m not a fan of
Oofa why are you awake
Sleep is for the weak
Right? They’re all the same character with the only changes being that sometimes the hair will be brown instead of black. Maybe dark purple if you’re lucky. The same personality though. E v e r y t i m e.
oooh brown, how ~different~
musn’t forget dark blue
hate this part, it’s not even an interesting personality
And all the background characters’ eyes just exit the chat. Eyes are overrated, anyway.
For some reason I read the stand-in but not audience part so I assumed protagonist-kun up there. I need sleep.
“Courageous but humble to a fault dude that’s oblivious to all the girls all over him but still super strong and OP,” describes so many main characters that it’s insane.
i want a show with a good female mc is that too much to ask for
I have yet to see an Isekai anime with a singular female MC man.
that’s terrible
it’s almost like the authors have some issues with women or something
It’s because Isekai is an escapist fantasy trope tailored to those certain archetypes mentioned. So it’s very unlikely. I just remembered Reborn as a Villianess: All Routes Lead to Doom. There is hope
there better be hope, imma quit the genre if they don’t stop the inserts
I think you guys really need to watch the Rising of the Shield Hero and Konosubarashii Sekai ni Syukufuku wo
Yanderes
And the average looking, personality-less character getting all the girls/guys.
