Handaan
It’s doesn’t have a specific equivalent in English, but “handaan” (FIL) refers to a gathering where a special event is celebrated by feasting with food. It’s kind of like a party or a banquet. We usually have “handaan” to celebrate birthdays, holiday parties, and such. Plus its also a way to get free food. 
Conyo
Filipinos have the tendency to switch from English to Filipino whenever we talk to each other casually. It’s because pure Filipino can be too eloquent, and also because there are plenty of English words that don’t have a direct translation in Filipino. We call it Taglish. Conyo on the other hand, is a different type of Taglish. Unlike Taglish, Conyo follows the English language format of sentence construction, but certain English words are replaced with Filipino words. Conyo can be funny and cringey when you listen to it. Those who speak in Conyo are typically rich Filipino kids who were raised to speak in English, but have limited Filipino vocabulary (although not all of them are like this, though). Here’s an example of a Conyo sentence (It’s funnier when you can understand Filipino.)
- It is a sad reality that no one will sundo you in your bahay because you still don’t have a jowa. (It is a sad reality that no one will fetch you in your house because you still don’t have a boyfriend.)

Ah, so it’s kinda like Denglish here (what we call a mix of german (deutsch) and english ) but people don’t really use it here unless they don’t know a word in their English class
