Questions Your Character Hates Getting Asked!

Hi, guys!
We all have questions we hate getting asked. Sometimes, it’s because they’re way too personal. Other questions might be offensive to us, while certain questions just annoy us because we’ve been asked them way too many times.

Today’s post is about those questions that the main character in your story hates getting asked. This can be helpful in developing characters, because it can be a useful tool in creating dialogues or developing said character’s likes and dislikes, or maybe it’ll inspire a scene or a backstory.

I’m going to share the questions that the main character of my story, Miss Understood, hates getting asked.

1 Have you ever ridden a camel?
2. Why don’t you have a boyfriend? You’re too pretty to be single!
3. How come you don’t smoke if almost everyone from your country does?
4. Why do you like that singer?
5. You don’t like sex??? Shouldn’t you see a psychologist about that???

She hates question 1 because people usually ask her that when she tells them that she was born in Lebanon. People assume that all middle eastern countries are in the desert and therefore, she must know how to ride a camel. :woman_facepalming:t3:

I’m sharing some of the questions that the MC of my story (which is an upcoming one) from Hostage hates.

  1. Why do you like Homework?
  2. How come you’re so smart?
  3. How come you aren’t that mad about me kidnapping you?
  4. How do you look so fly?
  5. Hey cutie, can I take you out to dinner?
  6. Why don’t you like James?

She hates question 1 because people know that she likes to get good grades but for some reason, they still keep asking these questions to tease her.

She hates question 5 because she hates players.

She hates question 6 because James is annoying and teasing her almost every day.

Okay so these are some questions Kieryn from my upcoming story “the heartless” hates.

•Why are you here? Your a red shouldn’t you be locked up?

•Why are you friends with him? He’s so weird.

•Why do you hate your sister?

•Why are you telling the truth? It’s not like anyone will believe you.

•Why are you so insecure? You’re perfect!

For my first story, MC is an assassin who is a legal guardian at the same time

  1. Why must you always be on control?
  2. Why do you struggle to sleep?
  3. Why are you unbearable on the day before your son’s birthday?
  4. How can you be responsible for so much?
  5. How come you don’t like to party when you’re a quarter Mexican?

She hates 2 and 3 for the similar reasons when she is asleep she can’t avoid remembering all the people she has lost and that specific day her parents were murdered and years later her legal guardian died on that same day.

For my second story, I am still developing this one a little more in terms of sexuality.

  1. Why are you only emotionally attached to your best friend, Eve?
  2. How come you are so rational?
  3. How is it possible that a scholarship student hangs out with someone who used to take part on illegal fights?
  4. Why are you so ceptical?

The MC has anger issues and went to therapy before many people could realise and Eve, besides MC’s grandmother, is the only person that knows.
