Teachers should stop complaining about how much time we waste when we’re only 5 seconds late. They waste more time on complaining than we wasted by waiting for the person.

Your teachers have to go to the bathroom before and after class. Sometimes they can’t even go then because they’re still keeping an eye on kids, or helping them finish something or answering questions.
The rule isnt to benefit the teacher. It’s for you so that you don’t miss out on something important. Although I dont see a problem with going to the bathroom at certain times during class, and especially during an emergency.

I’m going to be mega arguer tonight.
Teachers are trying to teach you to be responsible. You cant be late to most jobs. Even one minute late can get you in trouble at many jobs.
However, I think schools have to give an appropriate amount if time between classes so that it isnt a struggle to be on time.

Well, teachers in my school walks out of the class when they need to do something. And most of them are late when they enter the class.

I think you are pretty capable of learning about social media on your own time, although there would be some benefits to some topics probably.
In my opinion, school is to prepare you and teach you things that tend to be more difficult to learn outside of school.
Especially when manny people do not know what they actually want to do for a living when they leave high school and if they do, many change that plan multiple times in life. It’s good to be prepared for many possibilities.
For example, I’m not going to go learn about algebra on my own, but now that I’ve learned it in school, I use bits and pieces every single day.
I absolutely hated writing in school. Would have sworn that I’d never write a story again in my life (by choice). Ten years later, I’m writing daily. I may not have been thankful for writing classes then, but I am now.

I see. Mine they do not. Some days I do not use the bathroom 1 time between 8am and 3 pm.
But its more difficult to leave when you’re with younger kids.
I also let kids go to the bathroom almost anytime they want. But they sometimes miss important info.

I agree that it’s important to teach kids to be responsible, but that doesn’t mean that the teacher should complain for 20 minutes just because someone was 5 seconds late. Especially since we don’t have any breaks between the lessons and most teachers don’t care about the school bell and finish their lesson 5 minutes too late. Students are humans too and you can’t expect us to run up 4 floors in 10 seconds…

In my school, everyone stays in the class and the teachers are the ones who will enter and exit. Tbh, we’re glad that the teachers are late so we always pray that they don’t enter our class.

I swear most high school bad kids are just attention seekers I did so much bad stuff and never got caught because I never made a big deal about it.
