Reading journals

For a long time now, I was thinking about starting a reading journal and not only using Goodreads to keep track of books I’ve read. It just seems like a good place to write down my thoughts as I read and there is so much more you could do with it. Instead of going through your books to find something you’re looking for, you can open that journal and have everything in one place. It’s a great way for you to remember the story, characters, and the feeling you got while reading. You can look it up on YouTube and get some great ideas!

What exactly do you write in a reading journal?

I once read a book as a tween that was like a mock journal. I picked it up second-hand, though in good nick. It was a published “Mr Bean’s journal/day planner”. Very funny.

It’s basically a reading diary

So whatever you want to write about. Everything that happened in a book in short lines and your thoughts about that. Your thoughts about the characters. How you rated the book and why…
