My dog, Scooby-Doo passed away this morning. He was diagnosed with a tumor back November. He was 12 years old. I will miss him dearly. He was my fur baby basically. It’s hit everyone in the house including our mini-dachshund as well. Irony, is that both he and his brother Scrappy-Doo died right before Christmas. I’ve been in a depressed state since he had problems walking two months ago. That’s why I pulled away from the forums. I will slowly get back to posting and interacting with others.
Awe, I’m so sorry Wolfie. The loss of a pet is extremely tough. But I’m sure he was very loved and he is now not longer in pain.
It’s understandable if you need some more space to heal, don’t force yourself in any way! Also, I’m here for you if you need someone to talk
awww i’m so sorry to hear that Wolfie. It is never easy losing a pet especially if they have been in your life for a long time. It is an adjustment period for sure but you and your family are strong and i’m sure you have lots of picture of Scooby and will always have memories with and of him. He will be looking down on you and your family i’m sure of it
Thank you! That is sweet of you! I’m going to take it one day at a time. The good news is that we still have Milly. We are trying to keep her happy at the moment. Scooby lived a very good life, just like his brother did. He was still happy the morning he passed away. I’ll keep in touch on the forums though.
Thank you!
Yeah, I’m thinking of possibly printing down all the pictures of him and all the other dogs we’ve lost to make something out of them. That way, we would have something in the house for our dogs. We will move into an apartment until we get the money from the sold property. Our last day on this property is in May; I’m glad that he passed away before then since we weren’t sure if he would make the trip. My father buried him next to his brother, which is good. We still have Milly, though. The biggest thing now is that she won’t eat the milk bone dog biscuits. They were his favorite, which is probably why she won’t eat them.
The loss of a pet is never easy, especially so close to Christmas.
Yep, it is hard but we are getting through it.
RIP Scooby.
Thank you!
