I haven’t noticed any topic about this kind of music. Hope to find a lot of fans! :spider:

This topic includes all types of rock and metal music. Starting from really light sound till the heavier you’ve ever heard or liked.

I’m going to start with myself

I started listening to this kind of music when I was 10 (or something like that). Of course, it started from light polish rock bands (they don’t exist anymore… Unfortunately…) And Linkin Park (Sometimes I go back to their first records. Till now I like Chester’s voice so much… It is so sad what happened to him…), then I fell in love in Slipknot. Till now I follow their career. Even I still think self-titled and Iowa CDs were the best.

Right now the list of bands I like is so much longer! Of course, there are some legends like Queen and AC/DC. Their songs are as good as from begin. Never bored to go back to their records. Also, there are some not famous bands like Ventana (that band promised also years ago new records. Till now I am waiting!) and Gabriel and the apocalypse, or Sykosis and Snovonne. And in the end, there are a lot of famous brands like Mushroomhead, Korn, Machine head, Slipknot, In This Moment, Bucher Babies, Marilyn Manson, Dir en grey (I like Japanese rock too, but the list is not that long.)

It wasn’t me if I won’t tell you about my addiction.
Buying CDs and attending shows is a must for me.

During shows energy is amazing. Also, listening to songs is another level. Who never felt that, should try, it doesn’t matter what kind of music it is… :blush:

I’ve been listening to rock since I was 14 I think. My back then boyfriend got me into it.I started with Disturbed and some Russian rock bands. Then I got into listening classic rock, when I started watching Supernatural. I guess this show affected my musical taste the most. So I do listen to a lot of classic rock bands and artists, a bunch of nowadays too, but not too heavy. I guess the heaviest band I listen to could be Dragonforce and Disturbed. The favorite band must be Foo Fighters.
I try to attend shows, and I saw FF live, they were amazing. I also saw Scorpions back in 2011, was pretty cool. As about CDs I buy them ocassionally, but not because I really listen to them, since I have everything in Spotify super sorted by playlists, but I like to have something physical xD I have Queen disc, Bon Jovi, Meat Loaf.
