“Ooh, I fancy dressing up,” she said with a grin. A thought probed at the back of her head, hoping that she’d be able to afford the food on the menu. If a couple of college kids could, then she should be able too as well, right? They were probably more broke than her.
Hye-Jin begun walking away, as did Ayumi and Aisling. Ayumi waved goodbye, and Hye-Jin called something out in Korean which Ayumi didn’t understand. She assumed it meant goodbye or something similar, but she really had no way of knowing. She rejoined the group of kids, who seemed to be getting ready to play a game of hide-and-seek.
