Laurel:
Yeah… Zek. We were young, you know first relationship, nice while it lasts.
Laurel:
First relationships never work. Lying to yourself and pretending it could actually last long term, let alone through high school doesn’t do anyone any good. It was better to end it before going through all of that when it never had a chance to work.
Laurel:
We’re… friendly I guess. I don’t really talk with him much. We just cross paths sometimes.
Laurel:
Yeah, he was my first, and that was when we were 14.
Laurel:
No, but we never would’ve worked anyway. It was best to end it before things went any further, which only would’ve caused more pain.
Laurel:
Yeah… My dad wasn’t around a lot, but growing up was fine. I had my mom, and I had the rest of my family. I would’ve liked to have dad around more, but it is what it is.
Laurel:
Of course I do, she’s my mom. Even when things aren’t… perfect between us, I still love her.
Laurel:
Ah, my cousins are all great. That’s hard to pick one. I think I have to pick VC, because we’ve grown up together.
Laurel:
So… I’d rather not talk about that.
Laurel:
There’s nothing I can really do. Its my mom’s life, she’s going to do what she wants to do, and I just have to deal with it. She can just enjoy her perfect little family while it lasts.
Laurel:
Its not like I’m going to really have much of a sister when she’s going to be 20 years younger than I am. I’m an only child. I grew up that way, and that won’t change.
Laurel:
Yeah, the guy my mom fell for and stayed hung up on for her entire life. Like she won’t end up hurt again. And he’s not going to be my new dad. Even if she’s getting married, that doesn’t make him my dad.
Laurel:
I have a dad. I don’t need another.
Laurel:
I don’t know, and honestly I don’t even care. She’s going to do what she wants.
Laurel:
A little. I’ve heard some about over the years, some from her.
Laurel:
What the f**k kind of a question is that?
Laurel:
Oh Halloween? Yeah I had sex with Raph. I guess I missed the kissing and the sex.
Laurel:
He shouldn’t have said it. Love is nothing more than a fantasy.
