Do you buy or borrow textbooks/school books?
If you buy them, are they expensive?
If you borrow them, are they usable?
I borrow my books at the school library like everyone else here and they’re usually usable, but some of them were disgusting to touch because the previous owner spilled something on them 
We borrow all our textbooks and, for the most part, any novel study books we need for English.
Yeah. When you sign out the book for the semester, the teacher usually asks us write down what condition the book was in (good/bad/okay/etc.)
We don’t have an option of borrowing, you have to pay for everything here lol.
You either get them from a book store or older students and they are not cheap at all!
I always end up having to buy them, and they’re always super expensive.
The school gives the students the books, like we don’t have to pay for them (that’s the good part) but from wht i see here it’s stupid that they make students buy them. Why would schools make you pay so much money for so many books that some of them won’t even be used?
