School stereotypes

High school stereotypes…jocks, nerds, geeks, Emos, goths, class clowns…you name it, a high school probably has it. That brings me to the question, which stereotype are/were you? I was a mic between an Emo and nerd.

In high school I was just a general person who kinda drifted between the emos and nerds and didn’t really have the social skills to be accepted into either group  but the way that I was in general really played to the emo stereotypes and tbh it does so even more now

Which stereotype did you fit into?

Emo and nerd. I was a loner, though, so I didn’t associate with the groups.

I remember when my grandma found out I sat alone at lunch. The sadness in her voice annoyed me, because it was my choice.

Noice :sunglasses:

Uhhh probably the Nerd who also wasn’t a nerd-

Idk in my school we dont have the stereotypes we have “classes” like if you were upper class, middle class, or lower class- and then we had the “band kids” after that- I’m in the middle class.
Upper class consists of the “populars and jocks”
Middle class consists of the “normal semi popular non jocks”
and lower class consisted of the “Nerds and emos”
but I also feel stereotypes are so dumb…like why do we always have to be labeled-

What’s interesting is I can play into almost any stereotype based off who you ask in my school when it comes to describing me.
