Currency System ❁
Hoshikawa Academy Currency System: Yen, Jobs, and Payments
At Hoshikawa Academy, students manage their finances through a simulated online banking system where they earn and spend yen. Students who are bandmembers can receive weekly allowances for being in a band and students not in a band or in a band bi-weekly paychecks for working certain jobs around or outside the school. Here’s how the system works:
CONVERSION RATE: ¥1,000 = 6.6 USD.
Weekly Allowance (For Band Members)
Band Ranking | Weekly Allowance | Bonus (Top Band) |
---|---|---|
1st Place (Top Band) | ¥25,000 (≈ $165 USD) | +¥5,000 (≈ $33 USD) |
2nd Place | ¥18,000 (≈ $119 USD) | +¥2,000 (≈ $13 USD) |
- Top Band Bonus: Every week, the winning band will receive an additional ¥5,000 as an incentive to maintain their status. The 2nd place band will still receive a smaller bonus, but their pay is less.
Available Jobs for Students (Non-Band Members or Extra Income)
Students can also earn additional money through part-time jobs. These jobs range from low-paying to higher-paying opportunities based on the skill level and experience of the student.
Job List & Pay Rates:
NOTE: For the Bank, you will need to sign up as your “character name,” and create a pin and put your character name and pin your sign up sheet, You then be added as a customer for the bank, You don’t have to do this for every character just one! I’ll split up payments on my end, Also this is not a real bank lol.

- Therapy Sessions: Characters can go to a counselor or take meditation classes.
- Relaxing Activities: Engaging in creative outlets (art, music), nature walks, or simply taking time for themselves.
- Relaxation Spots: Quiet areas or spots like the Zen Garden or Art Room help relax the mind.
How to Track Life Stats
In the RP, the Life System can be tracked through simple daily or weekly logs:
- Daily Life Updates: Players will need to update their characters’ life stats (hunger, energy, thirst, etc.) at the start of each RP day.
- Actions and Interaction: Players will take actions to fill needs (e.g., eating lunch, napping, or socializing) to maintain stats and prevent them from draining.
- Adjustments Based on Actions: Actions like working a job or practicing music will decrease or increase various needs.
Final Notes:
This Life System adds layers of realism to the RP and encourages players to keep their characters balanced between social, academic, and personal needs. Balancing these needs is crucial for a character’s success at Hoshikawa Academy, and it can drive interactions and events in the RP.
