The whole method is a creative process. You literally can’t cheat unless you copy another illustration directly. Even then, there are so many rules on references and other sources that hardly anything is considered 'cheating. Just don’t steal art and you’re fine.

And how do you mean ‘good ones’? I don’t use guidelines anymore
