Episode has divided itself into genres in which each story can be listed. Each story will get a ranking overall and in their category. I, personally, wish that werewolf and vampire romance stories had their own non-fantasy place to be listed. I think having shelves for smaller sub-genres would also be helpful to grow those categories in the platform. I also think that some other shelves that promoted stories differently (like promoting new stories in a category with high reader retention somewhere) would be a good addition to the app overall.
Honestly, every genre shelf should just be divided into two sections: stories with romance as a sub-genre and stories without it. I’m so tired of having to see romance stories in every single genre shelf
