Yes and No to a fault. You need to know what the other political fields are but you shouldn’t allow any bias information when teaching the subject. If you do give a bias example then you need to give a non-bias example on the same issue. That way the students see it from both sides without being forced to accept what the bias teacher is teaching. There needs to a be a balance between the two. It is still something that needs to be taught but you shouldn’t force your views on to the students you teach. They need to learn to pick a political group on their own but still learn about all of the political fields as a whole.
