I’d say yes, but only if it isn’t food that has a strong smell nor anything too messy. A simple snack and water should definitely be allowed because people are not able to concentrate when they get too hungry.

Yes. I always allowed it, so long as the kids/students still participated. They’re growing and food/drink gives them the energy to concentrate. (wink)

Before Covid I was, yes. An ESL teacher.

Yes. I have a teacher who even provides them for all her students. It’s just a matter of the food and drinks you’re eating and drinking.
