I get it if it was for a play or something like that if the actor needed a costume or outfit that made it realistic but it being a costume for everyone to buy is just NO.

Whoa, what!? Even I know that is not for everyday wear. I had a kimono, technically still have it upstairs. I only wore it on Halloween so that I could honor the tradition behind it. Now, there is everyday use yukatas but they are usually very plain looking.

Uh thatā€™s not right at all.

Now, if it had been the last two pictures as a costume that would be different since they look like everyday shirts but the one in the original post definitely should not be used as a costume.

Why does anything that belongs to an ethnic culture always have to be worn as a costume? šŸ„²
